As a member of HBC I'm a bit partial, but I will give an accurate review.HBC is a hidden gem in a small suburb of Chicago. It was established and built in 1969 by proud Italian people. I have been here a couple of times now for private events but am not a member. In looking at their website, the space is available for rent to even non-members. Not that I know anything about the game of Bocce ball or good courts from bad ones, I understand that these courts are quite good. They had an international tournament here a few years ago and completely overhauled the courts. These are genuinely among the finest bocce courts in the USA. Wonderfully consistent and maintained. The Highwood Italian heritage vibe is genuine with many first generation members. And the members' love of the game makes them happy to tech newcomers. It's a great club and addictive game.
