“Had a phenomenal, five-star experience with Ron of Japan in Northbrook, along with my wife and 10-month old son. The food was exquisite, and it kept coming and coming, I couldn't have asked for more. The staff was attentive, courteous, and excellent in delivering a fantastic dining experience. The chef -- top notch.

To make the experience even more memorable for us was the addition of complimentary noodles that my son was able to eat for the first time. He was a huge fan!

“Ate there for the first time tonight. I am vegan and my husband is an Omni. Chef Bill came out and waited on us personally, and gave us menu recommendations, all of which were delicious! The ambiance was so relaxing and peaceful; it was a nice respite from a busy day and I didn’t want to leave. Reasonably priced as well: shared appetizer, two teas, two entrees, and two desserts was $60. Will definitely be back for many more dinners!“

“The guy running this place is just great. He was super accommodating. Even went so far as to tell me that the freeze flavor I selected wasn't the best. Said he would let me try it, but if I didn't like it he'd make me something else (Thai Tea Freeze... Funky... Just like he said). “Bluegrass Restaurant is a wonderful, family-owned restaurant. We have been ordering takeout and eating in since we came to Highland Park three years ago. The owners take pride in managing the restaurant on a daily basis. They prioritize customer service, great food, and a warm, welcoming experience. Last night, they hosted the Highland Park/Highwood Professional Moms group. We had only expected 15 women to attend, but 25 women ended up coming. The owners and the staff were AMAZING. They brought over additional chairs. They provided us with top-notch service, including separate checks. They respected us when we were speaking to the group and quietly took orders in the background. I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant.“

“We were so excited to have found this new place for yummy sushi poke bowl! We adore that modernized look of the restaurant and there are a lot of variety of poke bowls to choose from. My boys like the mushroom and California rolls sushi while I enjoyed the spicy hot fish poke bowl a lot. The staff and owner were super friendly and nice. The place was stylish, neat and clean. The sashimi was fresh and delicious! The food was served fast and the price was reasonable too. We are definitely coming back!“

“Had an amazing experience at Mughal The Biryani House! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The chicken lollipop was perfectly crispy and juicy, the biryani was aromatic and authentic, and the samosa chaat was just outstanding with the right balance of spice and freshness.
We also tried the butter naan with chili chicken, and it was one of the best combinations ever — soft, fresh naan paired with flavorful and spicy chili chicken. Even the drinks were refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly.

What made the experience even better was the customer service. The Kerala guy who helped us was extremely friendly, polite, and attentive throughout our visit. He had such a warm and welcoming attitude that it genuinely made us feel comfortable and valued as customers.
The food quality, taste, portions, and hospitality were all excellent. You can really tell they care about both the food and the customer experience. Definitely one of the best spots for Indian food in the area. I’ll absolutely be coming back again soon!“

“Convito cafe has long been one of our favorites. Our kids give us gift card every Christmas. Consistent quality , keeping old faves on menu along with specials per season. Tonight my husband loved the calves liver and I loved the fettuccini with fro magic and peas and pancetta. We each enjoyed the Caesar salads. That's fromagia not magic. And your desserts are always yummy!“

“I love this restaurant!! Perfect place to go to sample many Polish favorites, or to have a group meal (shower, birthday party, family gathering etc.) in the semi-private back room. All the food is really fresh and well prepared, just like Grandma used to make at home. It Is a buffet, so there are many choices to please every taste level. Desserts are in small portions, which I find very thoughtful, so you can sample more than one item without over doing it. You can also prepare a to-go box of favorites to take home, for an additional 'per pound' charge. The wait staff is welcoming, kind and efficient as well. Adult beverages of cocktails, wine and beer are available, in addition to coffee, tea, milk, and sodas. I enjoy 6-7 visits per year, and am never disappointed.“
