I was disappointed with my first experience being at Ron of Japan. Initially it started with the host who greeted us rather rudely. My family and I were only about 5-8 minutes early. The man who was at the host booth told us to wait in the are to his right. So we walked over and saw some very nice decor, figuring this was the area to wait. We were seated shortly after arriving however we were forced to wait 30 minutes to order because the other party joining our table was late. We had been seated for almost an hour before anyone came to cook our food. From start to finish dinner took 2.5 hours which is insane. Food items were forgotten, steak was severely undercooked, and water glasses were only refilled after specifically asking for more water. Usually we have a better experience, but tonight was not it.

Our service was outstanding. We had a woman chef and that was a first. She cooked everything perfect for our table of 9. I love their lobster and shrimp. Most everyone else ordered beef tenderloin and shrimp. Everyone took home their leftovers. My favorite restaurant.
