The crab rangoon is the best I’ve ever had, the wings surprised me with how tasty and well cooked they were, the basil chicken egg rolls were bomb (so is the basil chicken over rice), and the Khao Soi is a best seller for a reason!“

“Suffron Cafe is a great option for tasty Mediterranean food in Chicago. The place doesn’t have much seating inside, but they’ve added a couple of tables outside, which definitely helps when the weather allows it.

We sat outside and had the gyro plate, beef kabob plate, and dolmas (stuffed grape leaves). Both plates came with generous portions, and everything was very tasty. The meat was flavorful, and the rice, hummus and salad made for a very filling meal. The dolmas were also a nice addition to share.

Even though we ordered at the counter, the food was brought out to our table. Good food, generous portions and friendly service. Definitely a good spot if you’re looking for Mediterranean food in the area.“

“This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. The food was spectacular, it wasnt super greasy, but was greasy enough to satisfy my body's needs.
The hospitality? There is literally no way to improve. Jimmy, the owner, was funny, kind, and made this dining experience, an experience ill never forget. I wish I could say more, but honestly you have to experience it for yourself.

(OH, and i ordered the orange chicken, crab rangoons, szechuan beef, and various dumplings, and man. They were to die for. (Extra on the orange chicken))

“I was in the neighborhood and made it just in time for their lunch special, between 11-1pm. I had the cashew chicken with a spring roll to start, and a Thai Ice tea. The server asked how spicy I wanted it and gave a choice between 1-5, I chose 4, but when it came out they had forgotten to add it, so he quickly took it back to add it. It was a chopped up Thai chili and the dish was delicious and fresh tasting. Can't wait to go back and try a different dish.“

“So happy I stumbled upon this place! I ended up coming here two separate times during a weekend trip because I liked it so much. The first time I got the classic banh mi and an oolong milk tea. The banh mi had the perfect ratio of toppings and I had no complaints with it. The milk tea was a little sweet for my taste, so next time I think I would ask for less sugar. The second time I came I tried the vermicelli bowl with grilled chicken skewers. The fish sauce is garlicky and spicy and everything tasted fresh. They also have sugarcane juice which was delicious. The service here is excellent and the staff is so friendly! Highly recommend this place and would definitely come back to try more of their menu.“

“This little shop is the perfect addition to west town! It’s very modern but cozy inside with a 4-5 tables. I’ve been a few times for both dine in and takeout. The staff is super friendly with great suggestions and happy to make modifications. In the morning I’ll get a banana fosters latte but half sweet which is just perfect. It’s got a lovely banana cinnamon mix. For lunch I’ll get the shawarma salad with chicken, the rice in a nice touch that makes this feel more like a meal than just a salad. The manager came out to greet us near the end of the meal. He asked about our food and service & offered to take away our empty plates. He then gave us a card with a QR code to scan and provide feedback. He also flipped the small screen around, so we assumed he was encouraging us to use it to order dessert and pay? “Such an amazing experience at The Brew! 💜 We came in just after the owner had closed, and she was still kind enough to welcome us in and make our drinks. That alone showed us how much genuine care and hospitality they have here.

I ordered the lavender latte, and my wife had the Mango Sunrise smoothie. Both were absolutely delicious! My latte tasted so light, clean, and perfectly balanced—the lavender was beautiful without being overpowering. My wife’s smoothie tasted incredibly fresh, and you could actually taste the ripeness and sweetness of the mango. I definitely stole a few sips. It was so good the drinks did not make it into the review. 😂

Beyond the drinks, the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. You can really tell they care about the community and about creating something meaningful. I think what they’re doing is phenomenal, and I truly wish them nothing but continued success!
