“Update: Stopped back at Panera Bread and once again had a very good experience. This location continues to be a dependable stop for fresh food, good coffee, and a relaxing atmosphere.

The restaurant was clean, organized, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Our food came out quickly, was fresh, and tasted great. Whether you are stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or just coffee and pastries, this location does a great job keeping quality and service consistent.

One thing we always appreciate about Panera is the comfortable atmosphere. It is a great place to sit down, relax, catch up on work, or just take a break during the day. This Downers Grove location continues to deliver a smooth and enjoyable experience every time we visit.

As Mike & Amy’s Small Town Adventures, we travel throughout Illinois and beyond exploring restaurants and hidden gems, and this Panera Bread remains a solid stop whenever we are in the area. Highly recommended.

“The food was fresh and delicious like most Panera locations. What this place made it more special for me was prepared faster than expected, the side apple was freshly washed and my espresso was in a ceramic small cup not in large paper cup.“

“Pita Zone in Bolingbrook has catered for my family duringspecial occasions. They do a great job customizing our order to ensure we receive what we need. The owner is super kind and very customer service oriented. Among our family favorites is the falafel wrap, beef shawarma wraps, kefta kabobs and the rice is incredible.“

“After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“I have never had a bad meal from Gnarly. I have been going here for a few months now and I'm just obsessed. Do yourself a favor and check out the specials. Their barista is a freaking genius when it comes to their specialty drinks. I would eat here everyday if I could. If you love soft pretzels gnarly is the place to be.“

“We went to the Batavia location. The employees were so nice! Today was our second time coming last time I just grabbed a regular grilled cheese we came back today with my wife and son they asked if we got a punch card last time I said no he gave us one and punched it for our previous visit also! I didn’t even ask for that the guy working just did it! He was very nice to my son also asked if he had teeth (my sons under 2) and I said yes why and he gave him a couple apple slices free of charge while we waited for our takeout! We’ll definitely be coming back! Food was great too!“

“Loved Lima Fresca! We went on a Fri early eve and we’re able to get a table by the outside. The hostess was extremely nice and cheerful. Food was excellent and very reasonable! We had the chicken tinga quesadilla and some tacos, lots of quality meat in the menu items. Margaritas are small for the price. We are definitely going back soon!!!“

“Ramsays Kitchen is a wonderful experience. Its exactly what you would expect from a man that has built a buisness on his reputation. Everything is quality , everything is orderly and the staff is highly professional. The restaurant is tasteful. If you have seen any of Gordon Ramseys shows and seen what his signature dishes are you know they are great. I had the beef wellington, house made chips and the sticky toffee pudding, all of which were phenomenal. Price for dishes are what you would expect. Expect to pay around $200 for two. However, I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.“

I honestly started craving that rich, comforting flavor again, the kind that just sticks in your memory in the best way 💭✨. “Ordered online and given a “ready by” time of 6:13pm. My son volunteered to pick it up and sat in their parking lot for over an hour. Finally ready for pick up at 7:14pm. Food is great, but they need to revamp their online system to accurately reflect when it will be ready!“

“This restaurant is tucked in a massive, mostly empty building near an Asian grocery store. It gives the vibes of Beijing post 2008 Paralympics when all of a sudden no one made things look good for westerners. It’s cash only.

Despite appearances, this is the most authentic Chinese food I’ve had since I was in China in college! My husband and I went back multiple times while we were in town. It was great each time. They have an extensive menu so given that it’s not a bustling place, I’m not sure if the more eclectic dishes are super fresh. But again, you’re getting authentic cuisine and that’s sometimes part of it!

The jiao zi are amazing! The portion sizes are great for the price. You can’t get them in this amount or for the cost anywhere else in the Hinsdale or Oakbrook Terrace areas. Definitely recommend!

Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian option for potstickers, dumplings, 2 tofu dishes, and sautéed mixed veggies. They may be able to make other vegetation dishes upon request.

Parking: Parking in front of the restaurant is full up front but the lot itself is quite large. We did not struggle to find a place to park

Kid-friendliness: The building is a wide open floor plan with tables to accommodate families & groups. If a toddler needed to run, there’s lots of space to do that away from others eating. The bathroom, however, would pose a challenge for diaper changes. This building is so massive though that a nursing mom or a diaper changing dad could tuck away in one of the corners and have more privacy than a changing table in a multi stall bathroom. It’s dimly lit on the outer room edges away from the restaurants.

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all one floor. There are double doors to go through that may not have an operational hands-free opener. The floor layout has multiple tables with chairs and a free wider, open sections to get to the restaurant counter to order“

“Love the selection of food. Everything is always tasty and food is consistent in freshness and flavor. Lunch and dinner is a great time to go. The morning rush moves too slow with long lines and minimal cashiers. Try using the kiosk in the morning. That may move faster.“

“I like to do the pick 2. I love their Autumn Squash soup, Cream of chicken and wild rice soup, and Broccoli cheddar soup. I pair it with the Turkey Bravo sandwich or Strawberry Poppyseed salad (Seasonal.) I tried the Creme Brulee Iced Latte today and it was good. It wasn't too sweet. I also enjoy their iced green tea flavors and frozen mocha drinks. The one is Glen Ellyn was super busy today and we had to wait awhile for our food. It's best to order ahead of you're getting it to go.“

“Yummy food....warm and cozy ciabetta dippers are back. Love the soup and 1/2 sandwich deal. My only complaint was when the iced tea was filled, some tea went on the lid and when I went to drink it, it dripped on my shirt. Ah well...should have looked. Everything else was perfect. Can't beat the chicken soup on a cold Chicago winter day.“

“We normally order from one of two other places in the Naperville/Lisle area and had not had Lucky Wok before. We ordered a mixed bag of things and I have to say it feels like real food and not just either warmed up Costco stuff or msg and velveted meats. Like the chicken is real chicken and good chunks you aren't searching for it. Crab Rangoon was good to be honest the egg drop soup was really good. Fried rice was moist. We will order from there again.“

“I enjoy this Panera better than others. I had a huge issue at another location. Food wise at the Bloomingdale location, they do a good job on my custom orders. The building is clean (haven’t been to the bathroom yet) and the staff are nice. Just a little consistent wipe down on the monitors will do. Please bring back the grains (the protein substitute).“
