“Surprisingly very good for a suburban Thai restaurant. The pad kee mao was one of the best I've ever had. I got it with the crispy noodles which were good but I didn't expect them to be super crispy, like a tortilla chip. I thought they'd be a mix of soft and crispy like I've had in other Thai restaurants. Next time I think I'll get the regular soft noodles.“

“I had the pleasure of having some amazing tamales packed with flavor. I've eaten tamales most of my life and I brought some for my grandma who came to Chicago from Mexico and she absolutely loved them she has been eating them for 70 plus years and for her to provide her stamp of approval means a lot. “Stumbled upon to Claypot by happenstance with my fiancée a couple years ago and have been going back since! I thought I wrote a review already but better late than never. This is by far one of our FAVORITE lunch/dinner spots to go to. The food is so flavorful, healthy, and abundant. The service is very attentive. There are some days where it may be slower because they are busy, but it’s a small location with only a few servers so give them grace if that’s happens with you. I brought a party of 12 one time which took basically a quarter of their restaurant on a busy night. Anyway, I’ve brought a majority of my family members here and they all love it!! You not only leave full and happy, but you feel energized rather than groggy/lethargic like other places. Will not stop going to, bringing people to, and recommending this spot ever. Wishing lots of prosperity and business to them.“

Other than that I do have to say they're sweet and sour chicken is probably the best around. They're fried rice is also delicious. “best sushi in the chicagoland area for me! this little stall inside Hmart Niles’ food court is such a hidden gem. my husband and i actually come here once a week now, it’s officially become our comfort-food spot. i’m not a raw-sushi person at all, but they have amazing cooked options. i'm obsessed with the salmon yaki roll. seriously, it’s that good, always fresh and consistent.

we chatted with the owner once, and he told us he even makes the wasabi from scratch. the wasabi alone deserves an award, so flavorful, not the harsh store-bought kind. the owner is almost always there, making the sushi himself and running things with such a friendly vibe. he truly deserves recognition. this is literally the only sushi my stomach can tolerate, so that says a lot.

and it’s not just the sushi. their entrées are unforgettable too. my husband swears by the chicken katsu: crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the portion/price is super fair.

“I was helped by Kyle and Axl the other night while I was out with my girlfriend. we came in a bit before they closed but they treated us with energy like it was 3pm! my girlfriend got the mushroom soup while I got the lobster and a sandwich. Kyle recommended i try the potato soup which was great and I will be getting next time I come in!“

“I found this gem after a long day of work and traveling. The staff was so welcoming and every person was genuinely friendly, and the service was excellent. The deep dish pizza was so good, especially the homemade sauce—it had so much flavor. Honestly, everything we ordered was delicious. If you're looking for great food and people who make you feel at home, this is definitely the place. We'll be coming back the next time we're in town!“

“This was probably my first or maybe second time at Olive Garden? I always thought of Olive Garden as a basic restaurant, but now in my mid-30s and a self proclaimed foodie—I think I finally understand the appeal of Olive Garden. It’s not that it’s trendy or fine dining, but it’s that they’re just consistently good. I’m not saying this was the best meal I ever had, but everything was seasoned perfectly, the soup was nice and hot, and the pastas were cooked al dente with good flavors. The value was ridiculously good in this economy—2 drinks and 2 entrees (w/unlimited soup, salad, breadsticks) ran us ~$60 and we packed leftovers enough to last 1 or 2 more meals. Buying Taco Bell for 2 runs close to $40 now and here you have a full blown dining experience with sooo much food. They even offer a $6 pasta to go if you buy an entree, and all their mixed drinks were under $10—you really can’t find that anywhere in the Chicagoland area except a dive bar lol. The value just doesn’t end. Beyond the decent food, the factor that made our visit 5 stars was unequivocally our waiter Jay G. He was extremely kind, patient, and attentive. He should be the model of those in service industry. Thank you, Jay, for making our dinner experience so enjoyable. Your kindness brightened our day!“

The only downside to our visit was the hostess (the one with piercings) she didn’t not seem welcoming what so ever she had an attitude and just not very pleasant when walking in but other than that everything was 10/10.“

At the last minute, I added some bagels to my dinner order to have for tomorrow, and when the order arrived, there was an apology note about the Everything bagels being not up to standard and overdone, and small gift with the order to make up for it. That is incredible customer service. (Oh, and my salad and soup — and even the extra toasty bagel I tried — were all fresh and delicious.)“

I called and within a few minutes they came back and delivered the correct order. Naga I believe was the name of the delivery driver. “Panera Bread became my favorite family dine-out, sub and salad joint, when we lived at Great Lakes Navy Housing and my husband worked in Deerfield, IL, back in 2005. My most memorable meal is the Greek Salad next to the Apple Cranberry Salad... Their Panini sandwiches are delicious too! All food is freshly made daily, and at the end of the day, they gave their daily baked goods to their last paying customers on that day. Not sure if they did that regularly or as a generous gesture since we were a young military family of 5. Either way, I recommend Panera Bread!“

“One of the better Panera's. The staff always makes sure to get things right even when there are issues not caused by them. I've had a few delivery issues from drivers and the store made sure it got sorted out and got me new food or a refund very quickly. If there ever are issues with the order, Panera will make it right.
Special thanks to the manager on 7/5/26 1pm, she helped resolved an annoying issue quickly from a messed up delivery.“
