Panera Bread became my favorite family dine-out, sub and salad joint, when we lived at Great Lakes Navy Housing and my husband worked in Deerfield, IL, back in 2005.
My most memorable meal is the Greek Salad next to the Apple Cranberry Salad... Their Panini sandwiches are delicious too!
All food is freshly made daily, and at the end of the day, they gave their daily baked goods to their last paying customers on that day.

My food is always ready when I do a mobile order
This is one of the best locations in Chicago. I frequently eat here and even travel a far distance just for their food. The staff is outstanding, always greeting customers with a smile and proving to be helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Their sandwiches are truly outstanding.

Panera Bread offers good food and service with a quick drive-thru. While some favorite items were removed from the menu, there are still enjoyable options. The restaurant is clean and has a good ambiance. Customers appreciate the sweet and helpful staff at the front counter, who greet everyone with a smile. The You Pick 2 option with the Asian salad and Frontega Chicken sandwich was made well, although meat portions could be more consistent. The French Onion soup is a standout, but management should address customers loitering without making purchases. The Tuscan Asiago Bagel Stack and the Chicken Wild Rice Soup are highly recommended. However, the drive-thru can be slow and congested, even for online orders, which needs improvement.
