“The atmosphere is very calm. The food tastes fresh. You can see them through the window as they are preparing so it puts your mind at ease with the cleaniness. The servers are very thorough, they came by a few times to make sure everything was good. Over all, it was a good experience. We cant wait to see more exciting items on their menu“

“Broth Beast is located inside Dawg Park with no signage outside (or inside). You might have to ask for a menu.The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is kid friendly and pet friendly.I came for the miso soup, but that item was discontinued - as well as a few other items on the menu in the first photo (2021?) and the menu tab in this listing. I added an up-to-date menu photo (January 2024)… twice. I hope you can read the text.I ordered the tortilla soup, and it was excellent. The base is a hearty tomato soup, and the entire dish is vegetarian. There are several other soups and sides that look interesting, but I don’t like to eat a big lunch. I don’t get to The Glen often, but next time I will definitely eat here.“
“My home away from home. The employees at this wonderful place are beyond compare. Each and every guest is warmly greeted, cheerfully waited on and made to feel so welcome. The food is exceptionally fresh and delicious. And the coffee ... my favorite, brewed fresh the moment I enter the door. I spend 4-5 afternoons a week in this very special cafe ... and always feel like I'm walking through the door of family and friends. Highly recommended! P.S. “Beautiful interior, delicious food, attentive staff, and fast service. We dined in on a Sunday afternoon and very much enjoyed our experience. We started with the Finger Combo. I tried the crab rangoon and crispy rolls which I thoroughly enjoyed. The only note I have is that it comes with a tiny cup of sweet and sour sauce. The dish could definitely use a bigger serving of sauce to complement all the yummy fried finger foods! The pineapple shrimp curry was perfectly sweet and creamy with a hearty helping of rice. My mom said the Pad Si Ew was tasty, loved the presentation as well. My boyfriend ordered the Basil Fried Rice which packed a spicy kick but was super flavorful. We are excited to have a new Thai place in our repertoire!“
“Cafe Alif is just a find! Their lagman is simply divine - rich in flavor, juicy and very tasty. Be sure to try it! But that's not all - the service here is at the highest level. Orders are processed very quickly, and the staff is always friendly and ready to help with any questions. The atmosphere of the cafe is also pleasant and cozy, an ideal place for a pleasant lunch or dinner with friends or family. “First and foremost, the staff is hands down the best! Literally the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered! And I’ve tried a few things on the menu and nothing has been a let down. Usually I regret straying from “the usual” but I never do here. The crab rangoon is the best I’ve ever had, the wings surprised me with how tasty and well cooked they were, the basil chicken egg rolls were bomb (so is the basil chicken over rice), and the Khao Soi is a best seller for a reason!“
“Reminded me of my gramma’s Eastern European home cooking: delicious beet soup, goat cheese & beet salad, veal meatballs, mashed potatoes and apple kuka (strudel-like cake)! Although people rave about the beef stroganoff, the beef was dry & stringy and I had to add a lot of salt & pepper. Also, the cabbage rolls had tasty tomato sauce and lots of meat & rice but just a wafer-thin cabbage wrapping.“
“The food is amazing! We ordered the steak dinner and lamb chops and they were phenomenal! Seasoned and cooked to perfection! The mashed potato’s were sooo good along with the broccoli. Also got the Margarita flatbread and it was WOW!! Don’t get me started on the crab rolls. I could eat 10 of those. Finally we got the bread pudding and I was in heaven! Kids were even given Wikki sticks in these cute little goody bags to keep them busy even though they were super occupied with the game room. The chief/owner even came out and greeted everyone which I thought was really nice. It’s hard to come across good quality food and great customer service and this places defiantly provides that. Believe it or no, I was a vegetarian for 7 years even throughout my pregnancies where I craved everything but meat! Just recently started eating meat on occasions (I still get grossed out) but the steak I had last night I can honestly say I want to go back today and order it again ? called my mom, sister and some friends to tell them they have to try this place since we are always looking for good food which is so hard to come by!“
