The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“I worked for Francesca’s, the Italian restaurant, for over 12 years and loved the food there. When I ate I Sonny’s, I told the owner that the chopped salad and pasta that I had at Sonny’s was better than Francesca’s 100%. The dressing on the salad was unmatched, and the bolognese sauce had such depth to it, it was insane. Thanks Sonny’s!!“

I got it with the crispy noodles which were good but I didn't expect them to be super crispy, like a tortilla chip. I thought they'd be a mix of soft and crispy like I've had in other Thai restaurants. Next time I think I'll get the regular soft noodles.“

“GrubHub left me hanging and cancelled my order without any meaningful explanation. Since I was still hungry and wanted dinner, I called the store directly. Boy am I glad I did! The manager took my call and commiserated with me a bit and suggested that I place my order directly with them via their website. Since I am just across the parking lot and can't leave my location (I was running out of time for my lunch), he graciously offered to run my order to me personally. JC showed up a matter of minutes later with my extremely tasty food and a smile!. I love their Lobster Bisque soup and mine was still nice and hot. Bonus... While on the website, I registered for the Cafe Zupas loyalty program and got a Free beverage! And, even though I have a discount on GH from my Amazon Prime account, my bill was nearly $8 cheaper! Overall, my experience today with Cafe Zupas Schaumburg has been stellar and I'll be ordering from them (directly, no more GrubHub) frequently and encouraging my coworkers and clients to do the same. Now where is that chocolate covered strawberry for my dessert. Yummy!“

“Stumbled upon to Claypot by happenstance with my fiancée a couple years ago and have been going back since! I thought I wrote a review already but better late than never. This is by far one of our FAVORITE lunch/dinner spots to go to. The food is so flavorful, healthy, and abundant. The service is very attentive. There are some days where it may be slower because they are busy, but it’s a small location with only a few servers so give them grace if that’s happens with you. I brought a party of 12 one time which took basically a quarter of their restaurant on a busy night. Anyway, I’ve brought a majority of my family members here and they all love it!! You not only leave full and happy, but you feel energized rather than groggy/lethargic like other places. Will not stop going to, bringing people to, and recommending this spot ever. Wishing lots of prosperity and business to them.“

“Walked in roughly around 8pm, was instantly seated, my server was named Chuy, hands down the best server I’ve ever had. He asked us everything that we wanted instantly brought out our drinks and side courses while we waited on our entrees, made sure everything in our table was full. Treated us with so much respect and allowed us to eat without bothering our conversations. Above and beyond worker, made us feel comfortable and we truly enjoyed our meal because of the excellent service.

The salad was terrific and it being unlimited was a definite plus. What really made the evening enjoyable was the service by our waitress YARETZI. She was extremely pleasant and professional. “Sharing a quick story of great service. I ordered delivery for the first time and originally they had brought the wrong type of soup. I called and within a few minutes they came back and delivered the correct order. Naga I believe was the name of the delivery driver. They were very quick and prompt and made the correction right away. Thank you for the great service this evening!“

The building is clean (haven’t been to the bathroom yet) and the staff are nice. Just a little consistent wipe down on the monitors will do. Please bring back the grains (the protein substitute).“
