“Best Sandwiches in Chicago!!!“

“Grabbed lunch here and got the Oaxacan pork sandwich on their fresh baked bread, honestly one of the better sandwiches I've had. Pork and caramelized onions worked so well together. Remembered last minute it's cash only which caught me off guard but there's an ATM close by so it worked out fine. Place is tiny and cozy, definitely has that neighborhood cafe feel, not fancy but that's the charm. Grabbed a cookie on the way out too, huge portion for the price.“

“I am always grateful when a restaurant has a dedicated vegan menu, A+ for that. As a vegan for 45 years and vegan chef for 40 I offer my opinion with love. I ordered the vegan meatball sandwich, A+ for the whole wheat sub roll. The meatballs were actually 2 small patties, also served with lettuce and tomato, and tomato sauce. In this case the lettuce and tomato didn't belong, a distraction to hide the absence of a true round meatball.. If you can't execute a round meatball call it something else.. A meatball sub is meatballs, and marinara...maybe cheese that's it. I'll be back to try something else.“

“I placed an online order for a corned beef sandwich and a separate pastrami sandwich The corned beef was extremely dry and not flavorful, I suggest skipping it The pastrami was flavorful a bit on the dry side They put mustard and other condiments on the side but do not tell u this So got to my car and realized I now need utensils to spread condiments CB was on rye and P was on a French roll, both breads were just ok, did not taste fresh baked This was my first time I wud go back to try their hot food“

“Amazing experience! We had the food truck at our sons birthday party! Not only are they delicious but also amazing customer service!!! They were so nice, engaged with everyone, and my son loved the men working and he’s two so he loved doing fist bumps and they even cut his chicken tenders up for me so they would cool faster. “Some of the best vegan banh mi in the city, you'd be hard pressed to find better. The lemongrass tofu is my favorite but the BBQ vegan is also to die for. The ingredients taste very fresh, bread is fresh, herbs are really nice, and they're made to order and you can really tell. Also pretty good prices in the year of 2026.

There are some dead animals on display near the counter, so keep that in mind if that bothers you.“

“Had a hot dog and Italian beef sandwich last week. Ordered a regular soaked, it was very flavorful and spicier than anticipated which was a treat. I wanted it dipped and that was a good decision. Bread and thin slices of beef melts in your mouth. If you have a bad tooth or can't chew anything, then just come here. It was a great first experience. The Chicago dog run through the garden was good. What was great was the dog itself, the garden needs more time on the vine. Tomato was on the under ripe side. All in all I would come back next time I am in town.“

“One of the BEST MOM and pop SUB shops around Chicago land area. Bread is always soft and fluffy. Owner is very friendly and nice to all her customers,feels like you are telling your grandma what you want on your sub 🥪. She makes you feel very welcomed 😊. I always get the ham and cheese 🧀 sub 🥪 with extra meat (smoked turkey) deli meat is always moist and flavorful never dry. Been coming here for years and never had a bad sub here. Does get busy at times especially during lunch time, dont let the line discourage you moves pretty fast. Don't forget to leave some tip for the boys, they deserve it.“

“Chill spot with really fresh food. We decided to dine in after a relaxing sound bath. The bread was soft with great chew. It held up to the ample flavorful steak but wasn't excessive. They gave us a fresh bottle of A1 sauce to use on our cheese steak sandwiches and it complemented the flavor perfectly. The wings were a good size, perfectly cooked, separated and covered in two sauces that were delectable. And the FRIES!!! Thick cut, lightly crispy outside, pillowy inside, very lightly salted, and PERFECT!!! Lastly, the flavored lemonades were refreshing and actually tasted like what they listed. I enjoyed the peach. We can't wait to go back for the shakes!“

Order extra sauce and dont get mad if they charge for it because the sandwich is great without it but it’s FANTABULOUS w the extra sauce for dipping. This is not a sandwich you have and think you can finish it or the rest of your to-do list! You will need a quiet corner afterwards!! 10/10 best food, service and atmosphere! “loved my vegan bagel sandwich here!! glad to see a place with solid vegan options and interesting coffee specials. i got a fruity (i forgot the exact flavor) mocha which was delicious and the og vegan bagel sandwich.
the atmosphere is rather laid back but there was limited seating so it was a little hard to snag a spot especially because it was busy. the food came out quickly though and i really enjoyed it! i would definitely come back.“

“I am somewhat of a chicken sandwich aficionado. I was incredibly surprised at how good Tso Good's chicken sandwich was. I've tried almost all of the contenders in Chicago (Redlight Chicken, Fry the Coop, The Roost, Honey Butter, etc...) I was amazed at how good this place was! The Chicken patty was flavorful and juicy, nice and thick. I will have to add this place into my rotation! I don't know how I missed it before today.“
