“This was absolutely the most inhaleable italian beef I had during my stay in Chicago. Their au jus was also thick with spices so no wonder the italian beef is so delicious here. Somehow their dipped sandwich is perfectly soft and tender. You can literally sit there and breathe this sandwich in to consume it. Staff were very friendly and kind. Loved it here. Teared up seeing Anthony Bourdain’s face too.“

“Amazing experience! We had the food truck at our sons birthday party! Not only are they delicious but also amazing customer service!!! They were so nice, engaged with everyone, and my son loved the men working and he’s two so he loved doing fist bumps and they even cut his chicken tenders up for me so they would cool faster. “Cool cafe with a bunch of eclectic nicknacks and wall art. I got the goat cheese crostini which comes with a side of roasted tomato relish. It was good but it didn’t blow my socks off. It almost seemed like it was missing just one extra ingredient or garnish to take it to the next level.

I also got the chicken club and it was good. The star of the sandwich was definitely the bread. You can tell this place knows what they’re doing when it comes to making bread.“

“I come here often for Vietnamese iced coffee and Thai iced tea - they make the best of both of these that I’ve had in the city.

The curry chicken banh mi is very good. The lemongrass chicken though was very dry and could use something to make the bites go down easier, but that’s my one and only complaint about anything from here“

“We stopped in on a lark and split the CK1- absolute delight. We didn’t have any particular expectations beyond a hot sandwich, and were very pleasantly surprised. The whole menu looked unusual but good, picked the CK1 and strongly recommend it. For a not-too-heavy lunch, half the sandwich was just right. It came out very hot, we actually let it rest a moment before we could pick it up and eat it, then it was delicious, particularly dipped in the Au jus. We would have come back again if they were open later!“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I have never had a bad experience here and eat here at least once a week. The staff is so lovely and the vibe is so fun and the food is so good. And they let me bring in my dog and always give him treats from the kitchen. It’s a very community feel in CHeBA hut. 🤎“

“I placed an online order for a corned beef sandwich and a separate pastrami sandwich The corned beef was extremely dry and not flavorful, I suggest skipping it The pastrami was flavorful a bit on the dry side They put mustard and other condiments on the side but do not tell u this So got to my car and realized I now need utensils to spread condiments CB was on rye and P was on a French roll, both breads were just ok, did not taste fresh baked This was my first time I wud go back to try their hot food“

The sandwich was absolutely great from the sauce to the cheese pull. 10/10 would absolutely visit again. I got the drunken sandwich and would definitely get it again .“

“This is my favorite sandwich shop in all of Chicago, I used to go often to that known one on Randolph (which is great, good people) but now Vinnies is my go to.

The people working there are very friendly. The bread is fresh and ingredients are good as well.

Prices are very affordable as well.

“I go here on Thursdays and it’s sometimes PACKED and being run like the marines by like four dudes who are ungodly amounts of locked in. They proceed to make me a cheesesteak so good I call my friend who lives in Philly and tell him that he’s nothing. I am not usually moved to review food establishments, especially not fast food chains, but I’d be remiss to not to say that this is one of the finest Jersey Mikes I’ve ever been to. If you’re some sort of corporate drone bot at Jersey Mikes LLC farming for something to say about Google reviews at your next meeting, please consider giving the dudes running this store a raise because they’ve simply got it figured out. My favorite is the goth one.“

“So a great place to eat for a fresh, quality, and quick lunch. Wide menu without being overwhelming. The atmosphere, however, is something special. Unbelievably pleasant and unpretentious. I think it’s worth making a trip here on a rainy day just to enjoy the food and ambiance.“
