“I stopped by for a meatball marinara sub and had the best experience. The meatballs tasted freshly made and the portion size was generous. I was able to customize it and the sandwich artist even recommend an ingredient I don’t usually get and it ended up making the sandwich so much better. I ended up getting a chicken noodle soup as well that was also generous with chicken and portion size. One of my better experiences at a subway in a long time. It looks like the remodeled recently as well which is refreshing to see. Highly recommend!“

Jack who was working during the freezing weather conditions let me know it was only used for a wings rub but said he could try to make it as a cheese steak by mixing butter instead! He was very friendly and accommodating, willing to go above and beyond to help me. They were also closing soon and I was going to take my meal to go but he insisted that my partner and i dined in so the food stayed warm. Order extra sauce and dont get mad if they charge for it because the sandwich is great without it but it’s FANTABULOUS w the extra sauce for dipping. This is not a sandwich you have and think you can finish it or the rest of your to-do list! You will need a quiet corner afterwards!! 10/10 best food, service and atmosphere! “I stopped by here for takeout over the weekend and they were totally dead! No customers at all when I stopped in around 4 or 5p (understandably not peak time).

Ordering was through a kiosk which I don't love but it made it somewhat easier to peruse the menu. The pricing for the combo meals was super confusing - the combo meal was about the same price as a sandwich and fries, but the photo showed that you get a drink as well (paper menus confirmed that you DO get a drink) but then there was no customizer for the drink so I'm still not sure if you get a drink with the combo. I wasn't craving fries, so I went with just a sandwich. There was a woman cleaning behind the counter, but she didn't offer to explain the menu or help me in any way.

I got the Banh Mi Chicken Sandwich and it was tasty! They definitely don't hold back on the heat and all of the toppings were pretty banh mi inspired. The sandwich itself was huge and a mess to eat, so I appreciated that they included plastic gloves.

The restaurant design is clean, modern and cozy. There are a lot of empty drink coolers though which made me sort of confused on whether or not this was supposed to be more grab and go? Or maybe they are pivoting concepts? The menu itself seemed to be latching on to a lot of trends (Chicken sandwich trend and then several different types of asian cuisine) so perhaps it's an evolving menu.

All gripes aside, I am glad this place is here! There are too many vacancies on this stretch of Belmont, so here's hoping they are in for the long haul!“

I refused to eat at this subway due to incompetence. Once new ownership arrived at this location, it was a completely different experience.
