“Food was surprisingly good. Hummus is dusted with tajin or something like that, so it has a little kick and lots of toasted chickpeas which is yummy. The buffalo chicken sliders are seriously outstanding. Service was friendly but a little bit absent at times. Atmosphere is lively. We were there for music bingo on Wednesday night and will definitely be back. It gets loud and hard to hear when it's full.“

“Really cool local neighborhood spot! Babe’s has a fun atmosphere with pink everywhere, which gives the place its own personality without feeling overdone. You can tell they’re passionate about creating a space that celebrates women athletes and women’s sports, and that makes it feel different from your typical sports bar.

They have some really good mixed drinks along with a solid selection of cans and bottles. The beers were ice cold, the bartenders were great, and the whole place had that welcoming neighborhood-bar feel that you just don’t find much anymore.

Definitely a spot I’d come back to for a few drinks and to watch a game!“

“I rented out the private room downstairs for an after party at Sully's (~100 people) and it could not have been better. Their staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The service was top notch. Would have another party here in a heartbeat. Definitely recommend.“

“A legendary local bar in making.....great vibe...and has different nights that include live music..and Fyi the dj spins vinyl on certain Saturday nights ..also great place to watch your favorite Chicago sports team... definitely one of my favorite places...to go with friends....a bar you can go to alone and end making friends with other locals in the area...also they have a pool table...that is well taken care of ..so if ya like pool...this place is great to meet other players..“

“We enjoyed the World Cup Final at Mac’s and had a great time (especially with the Cubs game on the other TV). Everything on the menu we had was fairly tasty, and both the food and drinks were extraordinarily reasonably priced, especially for Wicker Park. The staff were incredibly overworked and I felt bad stopping the waitress each time while she was literally sprinting around. Hope they can get some help, but I will definitely be back!“

“Me and my friends felt so safe thanks to Megg.
We had an issue with some dudes at the bar, and Megg helped us out and those guys got kicked out immediately after reporting.
The best deal is getting the pass for the turtle races. they do start about an hour after listed time for the race, but you can drink before the scheduled time. it is $40/person for unlimited drinks.
The bartender who kept the turtles was so nice and let us take pictures with the turtles.

I started going there when the owner became a client of the company I was working for in the mid-90s, setting up cash registers in the restaurant he opened for his nephew. I no longer live in Chicago, but make it a point to stop there and speak with the owner every chance I get. Always great food and exceptional service! You may have to wait in line, though. Understandably, it's a very popular place!“

Olga is my favorite bartender in Chicago who has an incredible heart and makes you feel at home. Alex, who handles the karaoke machine is the best to sing your heart out with. “Stopped by this bar because it's close to my new place, and I'll admit I hesitated before walking in. Glad I didn't let that stop me. It's a great, laid-back sports bar with a genuinely welcoming staff. Over a few visits I've been taken care of by Christina, Maya, McKenzie, and Jagger, and every one of them has been hospitable, attentive, and easy to talk to. They are the best!
The space itself works for any crowd. Plenty of TVs, room to spread out both upstairs and downstairs, and a patio that opens up when the weather cooperates. It's a good place to watch sports, with nice TVs throughout. If anything about your order isn't right, the staff won't hesitate to make it right. No attitude, just honesty and good service.
They also run solid daily specials. I stopped in on a Wednesday and got a burger and fries for ten dollars, and another time tried the chicken salad. Nothing fancy, but both were solid, better than what you'd expect from typical bar food. I haven't gotten a full grasp of the rest of the menu yet, but from what I've tried so far, it's been good enough to keep coming back.
