“Cocktails and draft beer were great. We went for a special PWHL event and it was packed and loud but I still got drinks in a reasonable time. The outdoor patio was a great choice for us as it was a little quieter but the shelter covering half the patio made it loud out there too. The trex booth seating were also nice.“

“i’m writing this review as i’m still sitting in the booth because it was just THAT good.

i ordered the french onion burger with the regular fries on the side, and let me tell you i haven’t had a burger check every box like this one. the garlic aioli was the perfect amount of flavor to complement the caramelized onions. the bun was seemingly buttered and fluffy. and the fries!! they had a flakey salt with not one fry left unsalted. they were also thin and crispy to perfection.

the service was great and every staff member was always smiling. i never write reviews but this one felt very necessary. 5 stars from me!“

Essentially, choice offeted on payment terminal is 20, 22 and 24%! I had to insert custom because it is a steep choice. Would have preferred 18, 20, 22%.“

I’ve met one of my best friends in the city at this bar, spent birthdays, happy and sad moments here and the staff is just phenomenal. Olga is my favorite bartender in Chicago who has an incredible heart and makes you feel at home. Alex, who handles the karaoke machine is the best to sing your heart out with. I always bring out of town visitors, friends and loved ones here all the time, and is my space in the city. Businesses like this are the real soul of this city and in hard times and good times alike, they keep the city going…Have a Lvivske blonde and a Zubrowka in the front where you can mingle and sing, play billiards in the back, and have your intimate conversations in the really nice patio ;)“

I started going there when the owner became a client of the company I was working for in the mid-90s, setting up cash registers in the restaurant he opened for his nephew. I no longer live in Chicago, but make it a point to stop there and speak with the owner every chance I get. Always great food and exceptional service! You may have to wait in line, though. Understandably, it's a very popular place!“

I think it flies under the radar a bit with all the other good bars nearby (Bitter Pops, Butchers Tap), but it's great. $2.50 PBR is pretty unbeatable, the food is great (buffalo flatbread is my go to!), tons of TVs for watching sports, and darts. They also have weekly comedy shows in the back which are super fun. Bartenders have always been super friendly and service is fast. 10/10“
