“We heard their fries were awesome and had to give it a try. We chose to go around 4pm on a Saturday and beat the dinner crowd, sat at the bar and had speedy service all around. They also have wood bar toppers to give you for food orders at the bar since the way the bar top is originally built isn't the best for eating. There is a decent tap list and their duck fries were as good as claimed. I can't speak for their busier times but when we went it was clean, we were greeted and our food came out quick. Overall, it's worth a try to decide for yourself.“
“I would highly recommend fourteensixteen as it is by far the best restaurant in lagrange. The staff are amazing, the vibes are on point, and the location itself presents itself well. I got the pistachio covered lamb rack when I last went, and it was phenomenal. The dish held up well, the lamb was moist, and the sauces complimented the lamb perfectly. I also had the mango cheesecake, and I can still remember how perfect the cheesecake was. It was a perfect amount of cheesecake flavor to mango flavor. I would highly highly recommend this restaurant as I have yet to see a better one in the surrounding area.“

We ordered online for pickup and got a bogo deal through Uber Eats so we didn't have much interaction with the service. On the inside it's a little shop with a bar and limited seating. Luckily we live a half mile away because I will definitely be craving this. Pro tip: add banana peppers to the west sider.“

The latest addition is a coffee shop, which is clean, white, and a welcome addition to the neighborhood. There are limited coffee options in walking distance in this corner of the neighborhood. Coffee is one of the few things I make well, so I can't comment on the third establishment. If like the other 2, I'm sure it's a great early time gathering spot.“

“Believe it or not, my love wears a claddagh ring that I purchased for her when we enjoyed an amazing trip to Ireland earlier this year. So we knew we had to visit the Claddagh Ring Pub one of these days. This neighborhood pub on Foster Avenue received some interesting "pub" earlier this season when they promised to pay for all patrons' tabs if the Bears lost to the Broncos, and sure enough the Bears blew a big lead and Claddagh Ring Pub wound up on the news because of the promo. We finally made it here one random Sunday afternoon as we stumbled in after another Bears loss. The bar was pretty packed, but the owner was super friendly to us. He noted that there was a back room with some elbow room, along with some free tavern style pizza that was not gobbled up yet by the fans. Later when I went up to the bar to order drinks, he made sure that I had the chance to place a drink order with minimal waiting. What a swell guy! Loved my pint of Guinness! Perhaps we looked like newbies, but he really seemed to care about us with his customer service. Check out their website for sports specials and happy hour deals. “On this night, we visited our local Iowa Hawkeye bar, Gracie O’Malley’s to enjoy some NCAA women’s basketball amazing number 22 Kaitlyn Clark.This bar is pretty big and well appointed, with lots of TVs for viewing and an outdoor seating area when the weather permits.They have grace solution of beers in full bar with some delightful proprietary cocktails.Their kitchen is banging out some amazing dishes, such as the pulled pork poutine, the grace, O’Malley‘s burger and the southwest chicken sandwich. The burger was juicy and delicious. The chicken sandwich was crispy and spicy and you came on a brioche bun. Topped with fresh tomatoes and purple onions. Very well and very tasty. I paired it with mac & cheese, which is not a traditional mac & cheese by any means. This mac & cheese was out of this world. Fantastic! The only reason why this place did not get a five star rating was because they were short a waitress on this particular Monday. However, our bartender was very social and accommodating. Will definitely be back again for final four.“

There's also gaming. A few way to keep entertained. It has video poker and slots. There was one woman who never moved from the one slot machine the entire time. As for the rest of the stuff, it has pretty average drinks and food. It's about $6 for wells. Basic liquor selection. The food is mostly fried and greasy things. About $3 for fried appetizers. The rest of the menu is meaty stuff. Good stuff as far as entertainment. It has slots. There's not that much else interesting but it's a nice neighborhood hangout if you're around it though.“
