“My wife and I visited Chief O’Neil’s last night for a late drink during a quick trip to Chicago. We were personally greeted and served by proprietor Anluan McKinney who took great care of us and told us about the pub’s history. The food and drinks were wonderful and the pub was clean, comfortable, and authentic. It may be my favorite Irish pub in the US.“

“Phenomenal food. LOVE literally all their house made sauces, I tend to order extra sides of their sauces just because they are so good on a variety of things. Their southwest salad with the habanero ranch is godly ... Expensive as heck if you add chicken, but like .. everything is expensive right now so no qualms there. Service. .. hit or miss. Ive dined in 3 times and twice I got a female bartender who ... As a 14 year industry vet, I can tell she's checked out and doesn't care. Would never stop me from keep going back though. Good vibes (everyone except the female bartender Ive ran into twice), great food, and a great place to watch the games. If you're in Avondale and haven't checked this place out, YOU'RE missing out!! “Great spot to grab a bite and a beer.

They have a lot of different options on draft, and also have a great selection of higher end whiskey and tequila.

When I swung by they had two gluten free beers on their menu, unfortunately they were out of both, but glad that they offer them at least.

“We had a wonderful time going for the first time for a friend’s birthday. Our server Micky was so friendly and accommodating! The owner generously comped some drinks for us as first time customers. The plantains with the onion-forward dipping sauce were phenomenal. The Brussels sprouts had a lovely balsamic glaze topped with creamy goat cheese. Several of us ordered burgers with side salads, and the greens were of high quality. The standard vinaigrette offered was a wonderful blend of tangy and subtlety sweet. The smash burger patties were cooked well with crisp edges while maintaining a juicy interior. The garlic parm fries had a crisp exterior and fluffy texture. Everything was phenomenal, and Micky even helped us with the cake our friend made and brought. Do yourself a favor and come check this spot out!“

“We just happened to fall on this wonderful little gem! We had a delicious FAK burger, poutine, onion rings, and grandma's cheesy smashed potatoes. The burger was fantastic! The rest I can't complain about either! Our server was the owners' son. So kind and nice to talk with! We're not from the area, but it might be worth the drive to go back! We were on our way back to Indiana from O'hare, so it's not our of the way! We were there on a Saturday and they were having live music later in the evening. There's an outside seating area and inside tables as well. Outside area is also open in winter with it enclosed and heaters! Great place to watch your favorite Chicago team!“

“This family run business is something special, the food is amazing, the atmosphere relaxed and the drinks delicious. It's The sort of place that becomes a go to for any and all occasion. Also we special-ordered a cake and it was the BEST Cake I have ever had.“

“The Vegan Birria Tacos (hibiscus flowers, spicy dipping sauce, vegan cheese, cilantro, onion, elote salad) are excellent. There were some very interesting flavors, the tacos have amazing variances in texture and a variety of flavors in a bite sweet, sour, tangy and just a little bit of heat. Great rotating draft beer options. The decor is very interesting with a huge dragon artwork on the ceiling in the bar area. I can wait to come back.“

“We were greeted by friendly staff and patrons as soon as we walked in on a Sunday evening. We were asked what we wanted to drink right away and even though the taps blew we were led to other options. The food menu was the perfect size and the bartender answered all of our questions and even made us laugh a few times. The food was cooked right in front of us and it tasted so freaking good. “We held a celebration of life for my brother here today. About 50 in attendance in the stylish, comfortable upstairs area. Despite the fact that I planned this from 400 miles away and without having ever seen the venue, it went off without a hitch due to Mr. David Candiotti and his staff. No surprises. Everything was as promised. The venue is extremely stylish and rustic. Food was delicious and plentiful as were the drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly thanks to Mona, Alberto and Olena. I highly recommend.“

“We really enjoy the food plus the prices are very reasniable . We have tried almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed it all. Blake is an excellent bartender and host who makes you feel at home. He has a friendly personality and always has a smile on his face. Megan is a wonderful waitress who is friendly and outgoing. Best of all she makes us feel special because she always remembers what we like best. The owner (Roger) is a great person and always greets us with a big smile. “Visited from STL and this time the owner was there. Very chill laid back good time. This particular night they had karaoke, which was fun. The bartenders are friendly and know how to pour. Shavon kept the drinks coming! The owner is hands on, friendly professional and made sure to show us out of towners hospitality. After a few dances and drinks we ordered food to go. This spot is always on a list even if it’s a short visit. Stop by for a mature crowd and a good time.“

Beers on draft were great, and we had made it in time for happy hour pricing. Staff was attentive and very nice. The place is very spacious and on a upper level. There is an elevator for the handicap accessible, but make sure to ask for assistance!“

This place gave me 'Cheers' vibes (loved the banter between the patrons and the proprietor) we got the BLT which was super tasty. “I had heard so many great things about this place and was really excited to finally try the food 🍔🤤. Unfortunately, I found out they only allow guests who are 25+, so I wasn't able to eat there 😕. It would be awesome if they offered a takeout option for people who can't get in. I was definitely disappointed because I came hungry and had been looking forward to the meal 😅. The only positive part of my visit was that the security staff were very respectful and polite 👍. Hopefully they'll consider adding more accessible options in the future!“
