Yes, Avenue Tap & Kitchen is a sports bar...with good food. Located very close to the Paulina Brown Line stop, Avenue Tap was formerly called Waterhouse. The layout is very long, with plenty of sports action shown on the different screens during our mid-Saturday afternoon visit. The food at this place was just ok. It was bar food so nothing special. Service here was good because they were quick and attentive. It was comfortable here and there were some other families at this place so don't worry about bringing children here. The best part however was the pool table because we had it all to ourselves and it was fun.

The Auburn sign outside caught our attention, as my favorite cousin is a fan. We decided to give it a shot for lunch, and it was quite enjoyable. We opted to eat at the bar, and the design is very neat. The bar is covered in vintage pictures taken in the area. They have a fair amount of beers to choose from.
