Grabbed dinner here and went with the Southport burger plus those drunken cheese curds. The burger had a solid char and the toppings actually worked together instead of sliding off. Curds were crispy outside and gooey inside which is exactly what you want. Place feels open with the TVs and pool tables around so it never feels cramped. Servers were chill and kept things moving. Nice low key spot to hang.
I was there on a Sunday afternoon a couple of weeks ago. I got the 2X2X2. First, the price is insanely good for Chicago. Second, some of the best food I have ever had. The pancakes were outstanding! And the home fries, unbelievably delicious! The amount of food was great also! I couldn’t even finish! The service was above and beyond.
