“We’re huge fans of The Bear, which steered us here on our Chicago trip - so glad we found this place! We loved the mushroom adobo and longnanisa breakfast sandwich! The mango tarts were amazing, as were our lattes. We left with an apple hand pie to eat the following morning, which was still had perfectly crispy pastry. Definitely worth the hour wait to get in.“

“I am late writing my review but I had to write it !! I visited provare chicago On july 8th !! From start to finish this restaurant gets 5 starts . The decor was nice and set a perfect atmosphere for a great night . We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes of being there . Once seated the wait staff began their introduction's on drinks and popular menu item's. After my party ordered drinks and appetizers a gentleman came over (not sure if he was the manager) and introduce himself and made sure we were having a great experience. Appetizers were amazing!! We couldn't wait for dinner!! Our entrées we just as good if not better ! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! When we didn't think the night could get even better the entire wait staff and the gentleman that came over before stopped and recognized my friend for her birthday and brought over a birthday surprise!! I live 307 miles and this place was definitely worth the drive !!!“

We had the schnitzel which was super crunchy and the sauce on the side was very flavorful. The patio in the back is so nice and spacious and the word burning oven inside really sets the vibe. “A no frills experience but a very good burger, especially for the price. The food was very good, I had the RHR double cheeseburger, it was moist, greasy, and really tasty. The chips were good and it was a big portion. You can choose what you want in the burger and service was quick. The train is VERY loud going overhead but it gives the place a Chicago charm. Would recommend and will visit again. It's cash only, ATM charges $2 for a withdrawal.“

“I had the #5 sandwich with black forest ham and gairdiniera (among other things) on focaccia bread. One of the best sandwiches I've had. Only needed half to fill up and could stretch it for two meals. If the other sandwiches are of the same quality then I bet they're worth ordering.“

“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“Great little place. Got there at 5:00, it closes at 6.... but by 5:30 it was packed with dinners at tables and picking up take out. Perhaps stay open until 7?? Seems like there's a lot of demand right after work gets out. Tried several things, but the savory menu was probably my favorite. BLT Biscuit was excellent with lots of thick cut bacon. The Sausage Biscuit was phenomenal, especially with the perfectly cooked jammy egg on top! The Chicken Pot Pie was also good, with excellent crust crammed full of nice thick filling, with plenty of meat. Then we tried the Quiche. Lovely fluffy texture in the eggs and tons of vegetables, again with a great crust. The two sweet pies we tried were the Key Lime and the Chicory Chocolate French Silk. I liked them both, wanted a little more greatness in the key lime - but for those who like the creamier smoother flavored key lines it would be perfect. The chocolate again was good but i craved a little bit more of an intense punch of flavor. Just my personal preferences. There was nothing i wouldn't eat again, and i think it was all very fairly priced. Nice bohemian atmosphere and great service. Definitely recommend.“

“Always loved their Greek pastries, they are the best, started going to them 60 yrs ago with my mom and dad. We were always going to Hellas for our parties baptisms and weddings. All our holiday needs were easily available for us. Unfortunately, we moved out to Poplar Grove, Illinois near Belvedere and have missed them greatly.
