The food is delicious and the drinks are great!! The atmosphere was amazing!!
We loved our experience. The service was great as was the sushi and atmosphere. The negatives were that all out of beer and dessert which was disappointing and we did leave hungry.

The food is amazing, with every piece served being beyond amazing. The omakase experience is world-class, with pristine fish, expertly seasoned rice, and a pacing that allows every bite to land exactly as intended. Highlights include beautifully marbled tuna, pristine white fish with subtle acidity, and composed bites finished with caviar, seaweed, or warm rice elements. The balance between texture, temperature, and seasoning is exceptional throughout.
The experience feels personal, with only a handful of seats, and the chef engages naturally, explaining selections without over-narrating. The drink pairings complement the meal perfectly, and the overall atmosphere is refined yet relaxed. Favorites include truffle and lime zest, and the best uni ever had. However, service can be a issue, with long wait times and disruptions from other groups. Despite this, the food is top notch and highly enjoyable, making it a must-visit for anyone serious about sushi in Chicago. The intimate atmosphere, with only 6 seats available, makes it a fun way to celebrate a special occasion with a small group.
