So much to love. Many tasty options and it's BYOB!
An old favorite. Many nights have been better. But the nigiri pieces seemed slightly small today and it just didn’t seem as good overall. Two wobbly tables i could not fix with their napkins. No big deal. The atmosphere is not that bad. Less than a 4 but better than the 3 i rated it. And it seems to draw a nice crowd. Definitely will keep coming hoping for the best.
Best sushi I've had in Chicago. The salmon nigiri was so good I just leaned back in my chair and couldn't talk for about 20-30 seconds.
The woman who served us was so nice and gave great suggestions on what to get. And while I can't prove it I think she could tell we were on a date so she gave us a window seat with lots of flowers next to it. I can't recommend this place enough.

Komorebi Sushi offers a wide variety of high-quality, fresh sushi and sashimi, with creative sushi rolls and fantastic flavors. The menu includes many spicy options. The sashimi platter is a great value for the price. The rolls are delicious and not overly saucy, with unique options like crispy rice with salmon and the fun turtle roll. The presentation and flavor combinations are lovely. The food is fresh and tastes amazing. Komorebi Sushi is a great sushi place with love for the vibes, service and fresh fish and flavors. The server was so friendly, attentive and sweet. Every roll ordered was fantastic- red dragon, mafia, truffle hamachi, garlic salmon. Komorebi Sushi is a favorite sushi spot with the best nigiri, so good and so fresh, and the most refreshing rolls. The fish is always the star of the show in their rolls, and all the ingredients are super intentional. They also have vegetarian rolls that are so good. Faves: Amber jack (nigiri), hamachi truffle roll, Anne Thumbs Up, the salmon lemon one and a new hotake sake roll. You cannot beat the quality at this price. The staff are amazing and friendly. Plus BYOB.
