Food was so good I almost teared up eating it. The French Toast was incredible and so was the coffee, the tamales, and the pina water.

One of the last few places I've found that makes it feel worth it to spend money eating out. Absolutely some of the best food I've eaten (try the chicken tinga quesadilla!), reasonable and affordable prices, great service and warm atmosphere. I love the open kitchen layout, it makes me feel at-home and reminds me of cooking with my mom 🤍. You won't regret coming here.
Me and my boyfriend were passing through Chicago and decided to stop by this Tamaleria for lunch. BEST DECISION EVER! Such a hidden gem! It has such a cute atmosphere when you walk in and the workers are instantly so welcoming and kind. The food was beyond phenomenal! We had the Enchiladas Suizas, 2 Tamales de Pollo, and a Mango agua. It was so delicious from start to finish. My favorite was their strawberry tamal! A must try for sure! Will definitely be stopping by next time...read full review
