“I love this place so much!!! I stumbled upon it June 2023, and I’m forever grateful for that. 5 Star customer service! 5 Star food AND drink. I really wish more people would support this establishment. It’s hands down the best hispanic dishes in the area. Not even exaggerating. My fav is their chorizo tacos with grilled onions and cilantro and their carne asada. I don’t even eat refried beans, but I LOVE theirs. I travel 45 mins to dine there. It’s worth it. Support! Support! Support this family and their restaurant.“

“I absolutely loved the tortas and the Taco Tuesday specials here. This is the first place I’ve come across that offers generously sized tacos for only $1.50 on Tuesdays.

One of my favorite aspects of the restaurant is the fast, efficient service, along with the self-serve salsa bar, which is definitely worth trying if you stop by. The tacos I ordered—cabeza, lengua, and asada—were all excellent and full of flavor.

The cemitas are also very good, but my personal favorite is the Torta de Milanesa de Res. Overall, this spot delivers great food, great value, and a very enjoyable dining experience.“

“It’s delicious. Batavia is really lucky to have this place. This is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I suppose I haven’t been to El taco grande in a long time but El Sazon is for sure legit. Likely better than any place you’ll find in Geneva or Saint Charles.

I got the steak burrito and came out pretty quick. It was delicious with the rice and beans.

I got the Jamaican water as a part of the meal combo and that was also very tasty. Just a hair on the sweet side for me, but it was still very nice and refreshing.

This place is delicious. The cost is close to what you would pay at McDonald’s for a meal and better quality for sure.“

“If someone were to ask me what is Dos Bros like,I would say that it is similar in concept to Chipolte, but better and a little bit cheaper. I live in Nashville where don't have any locations. I am hoping they will open here soon. The locations in Jackson and Shelbyville were clean with pleasant staff and excellent service. Highly recommend. They start you off with fresh made tortilla chips and salsa that was really good. We ordered the steak taco dinner and the cheese enchilada dinner both were very good!!! The lady was very accommodating and said since they weren't very busy at the time they could make it spicy. Totopos absolutely delivers! Their vegan options are clearly not an afterthought, with several offerings to choose from. I tried the grilled veggie tacos (my favorite), veggie burrito, soy chorizo sopes, and a pineapple tamale, and everything was delicious. Be sure to order the burrito and sopes without sour cream and cheese—they also offer vegan cheese for an additional cost. I especially appreciate that they offer both soy-based options and vegetables that are actually flavorful—not the sad zucchini and squash I’ve had at other restaurants. The grilled vegetables in particular were so good. I placed my order for delivery and I also appreciate that they placed plenty of salsa in the bag for me. Excellent meal from start to finish. The fajitas were outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and served in very generous portions. The chicken and mixed fajitas were well seasoned and came with plenty of grilled peppers and onions. The nopales, refried beans, guacamole, fresh pico de gallo, and handmade tortillas were all very good and complemented the meal perfectly.

Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and the presentation was impressive. The portions were substantial, and the quality was excellent for the price. We also tried the jericalla for dessert, which was a great way to finish the meal.

Service was attentive and efficient, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a place I would return to and recommend. Daniel is outstanding service!

“Great Mexican that is always fresh, hot and ready on time for pick up!“

“It was our first time here and we had a great experience. The food is authentic Mexican food, the portions are big with fair prices. They have an extensive selection from steaks, tacos, tortas to seafood. We got the tacos al carbon and they were perfectly cooked. I asked for red salsa for extra spice and it was perfect. The cantarito is also really delicious. The atmosphere is good too, they have good music choices and not too loud. I highly recommend for anyone that wants authentic Mexican food.“
