“My wife and I just finished our meals. I had the chicken quesadilla with beans and rice while my wife had al pastor with rice. The food was amazing. Not as greasy, if at all, as many other places we went too. Rice was fluffy and pleasant to eat. Beans were flavorful and not runny. Quesdillas were juicy, cheesy, and the chicken tasted amazing with the spices. Even her tacos tasted good per the one bite I had, and her satisfaction with the spice, taste, and the tortillas.
The setting of Tako Chido was like a childhood fantasy as well. Anime, cartoon, DC, marvel, it felt like a natural hang out place to be. Lights were dim, but not too dark to feel isolated. Think more intimate with whomever you go with.
Service was amazing too. Attentive, quick and responsive as well. Kitchen staff knew what they were doing and provided quality food.
All and all, would order from here again and make it my permanent new authentic Mexican Restaurant place!

“I stopped in for a snack between meals... so glad I did. Delicious! Their hand-made corn tortillas are so fresh and tender! Not at all dry like in some other restaurants! And... even MORE SPECIAL (at least for me! ) their menu has a vegetarian section! How refreshing! Since moving to Illinois, this is the first taqueria I've found that has a vegetarian section on their menu! Yay!

“I have been patronizing Santa Fe for at least 25 years and have lately been a much more frequent visitor. This restaurant has gone from being my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area to my favorite restaurant overall! The food is fantastic, the service is wonderful (very friendly and welcoming), and the atmosphere is very comfortable. It's a great place to visit as you are really made to feel at home. My favorite dishes are the Salmon Azteca (the sauce is amazing), the Chorizo Nachos with guacamole and sour cream, the Chicken Flautas, and the Seafood Quesadilla. However, I've enjoyed everything I have ordered here. Their margaritas are fantastic too! I can't say enough good things about Santa Fe!“

“Pretty decent taco truck. No complaints. The taco steak dinner was good, rice and beans were good. Also had few other items on the menu and all were good. Sometimes I think people expect way too much, these trucks offer decent food, quick and fresh. Your not going there for the dining experience as people always complain about outdoor seating etc. You grab your food either to go or sit in your car and enjoy, if they have a table or two then it's a bonus.

Give these trucks a break they are offering you decent common Mexican foods at a reasonable price without having to go to some chain store etc.“
