Alter is one of my favorite places. Go get a big pretzel for 2, have a flight of really good beer, and enjoy the atmosphere. They have seating outside along the river, indoor seating that is like a 4 seasons room, and the taproom.
Full menu. Good food. A good comfort spot.
My last flight had 4 very different beers to try. There is a variety and often new beers to try. Big thumbs up.

The food was good except the Summer Truffle Gemelli (overcooked pasta and sauce had no flavor)
