“What a wonderful experience! A hidden gem that everyone should try out! THIS is by far the best Indian food we've ever had! And we've had many good ones! Veena is such a wonderful hostess and chef Rob's cooking his grandmother's authentic regional recipes! The best and most delicious and interesting bread I've ever had. Black linen tablecloths. The desert of the day was indescribable. it was so wonderful and authentic and unique. ABSOLUTELY enjoy this treasure, so centrally located.“

“Walrus Room is a solid five star restaurant. Table service is fantastic. Our server knew the menu inside and out, provided useful recommendations and was very attentive without being pesty. Starting with the appetizers four of us had Shrimp DeJohgne, the Burrata, Curds and Chorizo Mussels. All very very good. From their extensive lists the ladies had wine and I had bourbon. For dinner we ordered the walleye on rice, Amish roast chicken and the prime steak frites. All really good although maybe the entrees were a bit salty. We ordered too much food and drink so the nearly five hundred dollar bill was our fault. Great service, fantastic atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.“

“I stumbled upon the Martini Room while searching for "date night" in Google Maps, and let me tell you, this place exceeded all expectations!
We arrived at 5 PM and had the entire place to ourselves—a rare gem. The ambiance was spot on with its intimate lighting and well-thought-out furniture arrangement, making it ideal for cozy conversation.
The drinks were nothing short of perfect! Each sip was a delightful balance, allowing the flavors of the ingredients to shine without being overpowered by alcohol. It’s a treat to experience well-crafted cocktails that tantalize the taste buds.
What makes this place even more appealing is the "bring your own food" policy. With a plethora of great dining options nearby, we had the freedom to pair our drinks with our favorite eats.
Whether it’s your first date or the hundredth, the Martini Room is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend! 🍸❤️“

“We LOVED it! My special lady friend and I have both been in the Hospitality Industry for years and we love to go out- not often. So when we do have a chance to go out it becomes a critical examination and banter between us. The staff sometimes catches on as we stare at the linen napkins for 10 minutes discussing how ours do not absorb water as well as these and this color! Is it denim? We don’t serve our pizzas with a pie server - do you? Yeah, but this one is nice and heavy and will not slide off the wood board. Oh- yeah we ate too. It was all very scrumptious, delicious, filling, and quite cozy. We sat on the family side- since I rarely behave and it was nice and noisy, busy and nice to see families out on a Thursday night for dinner. We skipped cocktails and binged on deserts. And they are wonderful! Chocolate Budino and the Lemon Ricotta Tart-order both!! Thank you Tara, Brad, Paulina and the charming food runner- we will be back soon - mostly to checkout the decor in the bathrooms- we didn’t make it back there-“

“Had a great experience. Food amazing. Service was excellent. Affordable and great quality. Everything on the menu looked great. Many options for everyone. I had a salad but others in our family had sandwiches and other great tasty menus items. Can’t complain. Would go back anytime we go back to town.“
