“Went last night reserved a party of 6 but another friend showed up and Anthony the owner accommodated us. We ordered half the menu including the star of the show being the tomahawk steak. We shared all items buffet style sampling all dishes. Everything was excellent and everyone in the party was thoroughly impressed!“

“I hosted a St. Patrick's Day pub crawl this past weekend, and Hizemans was our second stop.... They absolutely delivered!
Even with the busy traffic they were already handling, Hizemans had no trouble accommodating our group of 50. Their bar service was the fastest I've ever seen, and impressively, it was all thanks to just one person behind the bar — huge shoutout to bartender Max, you were amazing! A special thank you to GM Tony, who was incredibly kind to our entire group, communicated thoroughly with me at the event, and made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish. And the food? The wings were a massive hit. People kept going back for more! Thank you to the entire staff at Hizemans — you guys absolutely rock! “We were in town for a basketball tournament, with a group of 22, and their staff accommodated our entire group! From the hostess, to our waitress, to whom I believe was the manager (tall gentleman), they were fantastic! The food, was delicious!!! Serving sizes were generous and their drinks were great as well. If we are ever back in town, we will return!“

“Barrelman's Room is my go-to place on a Friday or Saturday night when I want delicious cocktails and cozy ambiance so I can actually talk to my friends & hear each other. It's usually pretty easy to get a table, the staff is helpful with recommendations and I love the "secret" feel of it. I recommend it to anyone who wants a night out without a long line or wait. You won't be disappointed!“

“1st visit to MK Steak and we were very impressed. We were seated right away and started with wine and cocktails ( spicy Bees Knees was awesome!). Our server, Chelsea, was knowledgeable, friendly and tentative. Atmosphere was lively but not loud. Both our entrees were cooked to perfection. My husband, who knows his steaks, was pleasantly surprised to hear the steaks are from Meats by Linz. His steak was amazing- great flavor. I had the scallops, which were also very good. The baked French Onion soup was hot and cheese was nicely browned. We were too full for dessert but saw a few being served. So wish I had saved room! We will be back!“

“Stayed at the doubletree hotel and was very pleasantly surprised how great the food was at Osteria Italian restaurant. We dined here two nights in a row because it was so delicious. Julio our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Made our first evening at the restaurant memorable. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and Caesar salad. It was wonderful. I had plenty of leftovers and can’t wait to enjoy the other half when I get home. My husband ordered rigatoni with chicken and the soup of the day. He had plenty left over for another meal also. Had two Tiramisu martinis and unfortunately ran out of room for dessert. The second night we sat in the bar for happy hour. Joey, the manager remembered us and made us feel like we were friends dining at his home. Handsome gentleman and incredibly friendly. Tony the bartender managed a full bar of people yet was very available to take our order. Happy hour is a great deal with $7 martinis and affordable large appetizers. Luckily we saved room to share a piece of Tiramisu. Absolutely divine. Can’t wait for our next visit to Chicago to dine here again. Highly recommended.“

“I visited Buttermilk Cafe for the first time today for breakfast. I am working in Carol Stream and staying at the Hamilton Suites. I decided to try Buttermilk Cafe this morning as a change from the hotel breakfast. They did not disappoint. I had the blackberry brie French toast. Oh my goodness, it was SO delicious. I added the pure maple syrup for a nominal additional charge ($1.79). But it really didn't need syrup. My server, Matilde, was attentive and very nice. I would definitely eat here again when in town.“
