It is a great pub in Batavia with a friendly and knowledgeable staff, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The food is on point, with an interesting beer list and great drinks. Customers have enjoyed a variety of dishes, including the huge and delicious Elite bowl, a devoured burger and fries, and the true stand out Goat Kids Board. The upstairs seating area feels more like a restaurant, while the downstairs is dominated by a bar with some side tables. The place can feel dark and close, but the seats are comfortable and the tables are clean. The restaurant is small but offers free parking nearby and is easy to walk to. Overall, The GOAT is worth a visit for lunch or dinner, especially for those who want good food, happy hour deals, and craft cocktails.
