This is the definition of old time bar except for the games. It has a few TV's for sports but not a sports bar by any stretch. Good cold beer selection and really good staff. This is the kind of place where locals go to hang out and talk about stuff. On Sundays, people bring food and share it for free for the football games. Classic Chicagoland/Midwest bar that has wooden countertops, pool, darts, a decent selection of draft beers and importantly “the atmosphere” of regulars and bar staff that keep it welcoming and local. Definitely a keeper.

This is one my absolute favorite places to come for a few drinks. The atmosphere is very laid back, the whiskey selection is good, and the prices are good too. There are a few TVs above the bar if you just want to sit and relax, or if you're looking for some more activity they have Golden Tee, darts, and some gaming machines.
