“I play for pool league out of this location, so I have to be here, but the tater tots are really what keeps me coming back! They are the best around, if you ask for them extra crispy they are very accommodating and do it with no issue! I’ve slowly started to explore the menu because you can never miss with the tots! If you’re a potato enthusiast, I highly recommend checking this place out! You’ll want to eat every last one and maybe ask for more!“

“Celebrated two birthdays at lunch. Atwater's is in a quaint setting surrounded by water and beautiful plantings. The food was excellent (entrees included prime rib sandwich and chicken crepes). The starter for the three of us was an outstanding cream of asparagus soup finished with balsamic and blue cheese crumbles. Desserts were excellent (creme brulee and a lemon cheesecake). The waiter couldn't have been nicer -- he was also very attentive. The lunch was as good as any dinner that we have had at a five star restaurant. This was a great all-around dining experience!!“

“Always love coming here for the concerts. Their hamburgers are pretty good and they have tots. That's all they need in my book. The waitresses are always great and attentive and their choice of bands is always right on. I believe it's either a 10 or 12 dollar cover and it is surprising to know that they don't open until 7:00 p.m. so unless you want a late dinner you have to go somewhere else. The place across the street is good.“

“Stopped in with a friend after a metra ride. Hung out at this establishment while we waited for my phone to charge up and for Uber to come. Typical mixed bar of locals and commuters. Sports oriented. Did not check out the menu. We just ordered a beverage. Wait staff was kind, cheerful, and attentive. They have a nice patio as well. A great place to relax as you wait for a train or a great place to unwind after a day downtown and long train ride.“

Dietary restrictions: They have it but I'm not on a diet so I eat the regular foods and it is delicious.

Parking: Alot and they have enough handicap right up front and they serve them first unless you asked them not to.“

“We went here for a Friday night fish fry. We did carry out but they are open to the public. Fried cod, baked potato and coleslaw. Myhusband liked the fish alot but said it needed a little lemon or something to spice it up. I had fried shrimp which were very large with a baked potato and coleslaw. The coleslaw was not that great, but we enjoyed the rest of the meal alot. I would recommend this place for a good inexpensive fish fry.“

Bingo is Wednesday night and a lot of fun, plus the wings are half off that day. Burgers are excellent. Jackie is fun and is always lively. Good people there too. “Very nice place in St Charles. They have a very nice outdoor patio setup with an outside full bar, a stage where they had live music, and a brick oven for making pizzas. Nice atmosphere. Our server did a great job and was pleasant. We had a group of 5, I had the pizza and it was very good. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.“
