Ballydoyle Reviews
Poor service and horrible beer. I ordered a brew dog hazy IPA and the waitress brought me some kind of red ale which is clearly not a hazy IPA. See attachment for what the beer should look like and what they brought me. Waitress does nothing to remediate the situation. Never seen such a poorly run business. Staff have bad attitudes and beer was definitely not right. Maybe it was spoiled or they substituted a cheaper product. Do not go here.
A very good house old specially fashioned.
Had the beer fries, pretty good and good drinks, place kinda got pricey but hey it is what it is. Good food and friendly service and enviroment; came to visit my dad in town and came here.

Ballydoyle is a spacious restaurant located in downtown Aurora, close to the Paramount theater, with a huge parking lot available after hours. The restaurant features live music and serves good food, including Irish chips, corn beef bites, burgers, and the popular Reuben sandwich. The staff provides great service, led by an amazing manager, and the bartender Gerald has been noted for his attentiveness. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, with no problems for those using walkers. With a cozy atmosphere, including tables shipped from Ireland 62 years ago, Ballydoyle is a great spot to spend time with friends and family.
Customers have praised the dining experience, highlighting the skill of the bartender in creating a shamrock design in the foam of a Guinness. The Chicken Boxty, a dish with chicken pot pie filling on a crepe-like pancake, has been highly recommended. Guests have enjoyed the adult grilled cheese, which is so big that leftovers are often taken home. The restaurant offers fair prices and a pleasant environment for meals before shows at the nearby theater. The décor and woodwork give a true feel of being in Ireland, making it a favorite spot for many.
