This is our go to place for Chinese food! The quality is always consistent, great portions, and the team that runs it is so sweet. They take care of their customers and we are regulars because of that. We get a big take out from them at least once a month. Would recommend to anyone local to the area!!
My favorite neighborhood Chinese spot! I always get the orange chicken and shrimp fried rice. The food is always fresh and hot. Good customer service.

If you’re reading some of the other negative reviews from before I urge you to not listen to them. This place has come a long way and is much much better. I work right next door to here and come here all the time and my coworkers love this place too! Really one of the only good Chinese restaurants around the area anymore.

Z J China is a Chinese restaurant in Downers Grove that has left customers impressed with the delicious food and quick service. The beef fried rice and orange chicken are highly recommended, as the seasoning is so well done that soy sauce isn't even needed. Customers have praised the barbecued pork fried rice for its unique flavor, as well as the generous portions of dishes like General Tso's chicken and Schezwan beef. Despite the outdated appearance of the restaurant, the cleanliness and quality of the food shine through. The jumbo shrimp fried rice and pot stickers are particularly standout items, with the pot sticker sauce being especially delicious. Don't let the exterior fool you - Z J China is definitely worth a visit for some tasty Chinese cuisine.
