“Limited menu done right. Portions are small but prepared with care. Always consistent. Shy away from the calamari friti. I’ve had it a few times and hoped it would get better . Barely any shrimp the “ piece. Contained are small and few as is the actual squid. Loaded with veggies instead. Not a value or good choice! The twin medallions of beef are delicious but not substantial. The white fish is the best dish on the mine!“

“Every time we come here is a great experience. The food is amazing, service is friendly, and the atmosphere is great for a date night or a night out with friends. The owner always makes it a point to come out and greet all the customers, truly just a warm and inviting experience. The food is homemade and fresh, and it does not taste or feel like so many corporate chain restaurants. I recently had the Panini Con Salccicia sandwich and it was to die for! Please keep this one on your menu forever! I find myself craving it. We will be back again, soon!“

“My husband and I had our 1st meal inside the restaurant. We’d dined on the patio several times. We loved the ambiance inside. We began with the burrata appetizer-outstanding. I opted for the lamb chop special and my husband had the misto de mare, both were delicious. To finish our wonderful dinner, we had the lemoncello and mascarpone cake. Scrumptious!“

“My granddaughter brought me to Gia Mia for my birthday. Food was excellent and the service was beyond excellent…very attentive to detail and everyone was very pleasant. While the pizza prices may seem a tad higher than the competition, it’s well worth as the put more cheese and toppings than most of their competition, so you need feeer pieces. It’s always very clean, and the husband wife owners are both very nice.“

“What an outstanding Restaurant! I had my daughter's bridal shower at Mio Modo and Michael, the Manager, took care of every detail that I was looking for. The food was excellent, from the appetizer-Calamari to the main meal-Pollo al Limone and Vodka Pasta, to the dessert Tiramisu!! So delicious!! The staff was very attentive and professional. “My husband and I owned a mobile Hot Dog Stand I ran it in Northwest Indiana. I sold Bari Beef Sandwiches. I was famous for my Beef sandwiches . I have and will always swear by Bari Beef!!!! We have moved all over the country the last 9 years and just moved to Bartlett Illinois. I just found out I live only 9.8 miles from Bari factory store …… I think I have died and gone to Heaven!!! On a side note. I had a deal for all new customers who questioned whether I had the best beef sandwiches. I told them “You buy my Beef sandwich and if you do t think it’s the best you have ever had I will give you your money back!” I have NEVER had to give anyone their money back!!! The only suggestion I would make to the restaurant is to better set up their online ordering systems and encourage customers to use them versus calling in orders. Also, allow take out ordering on holidays such as new years eve when you're open.“
