“This place is a hidden gem! I went in with my family, was greeted by a young lady named Andrea, very young and sweet. Had my 2 kids with me and she was absolutely amazing to them! Made sure she answered all of my kids silly questions. She was extremely busy and still had a big smile on her face. She seems to have a lot of experience working here with the way she answered everyone’s questions! The food was absolutely amazing and although the wait was a little long it ended up being worth it! Definitely a great place to stop by with your family!“

“Limited menu done right. Portions are small but prepared with care. Always consistent. Shy away from the calamari friti. I’ve had it a few times and hoped it would get better . Barely any shrimp the “ piece. Contained are small and few as is the actual squid. Loaded with veggies instead. Not a value or good choice! The twin medallions of beef are delicious but not substantial. The white fish is the best dish on the mine!“

“What an outstanding Restaurant! I had my daughter's bridal shower at Mio Modo and Michael, the Manager, took care of every detail that I was looking for. The food was excellent, from the appetizer-Calamari to the main meal-Pollo al Limone and Vodka Pasta, to the dessert Tiramisu!! So delicious!! The staff was very attentive and professional. We will definitely be visiting Mio Modo again. Thank you for a delightful experience!“

“Riganato played host to a wonderful 90th birthday luncheon for my Mother (from nearby St. Charles) in their back room this past Sunday afternoon, with just enough capacity for 24 people.

Food was excellent, as expected, from sandwiches and pizza to outstanding fish entrees, menu specials, and pastas. Service was very attentive and kind. No extra fees or surprises whatsoever.

Highly recommended for your special events, and general family-friendly, high-quality dining at reasonable prices.“

“My husband and I had our 1st meal inside the restaurant. We’d dined on the patio several times. We loved the ambiance inside. We began with the burrata appetizer-outstanding. I opted for the lamb chop special and my husband had the misto de mare, both were delicious. To finish our wonderful dinner, we had the lemoncello and mascarpone cake. Scrumptious!“

“My granddaughter brought me to Gia Mia for my birthday. Food was excellent and the service was beyond excellent…very attentive to detail and everyone was very pleasant. From appetizer to dessert, it was wonderful. Hopefully I can celebrate my 80th birthday at Gia Mia next year. Maybe a small party💕 thank you Gia Mia for a great birthday dinner. “First time dining here as a long time Cooper's Hawk lover. Everything we ate was really good, the squash blossom appetizer was definitely the star of the show. I had the spicy calabrian shrimp pasta, very tasty sauce wasn't too rich. Pasta was very good. One of my friends also had a pizza with their yellow sauce which was extremely tasty. I'm definitely going to try a version of that next time we go back. The other Superstar was one of their desserts, the blueberry and peach crostada. I didn't have much room left at that point of the meal but I still managed to get couple three bites and, will definitely get again. Service was phenomenal. It's a nice little restaurant atmosphere. Highly recommend“

Some slices actually had no sausage. Plus it was dry. Lifted up the cheese and there was barely any sauce. And, end pieces had no cheese. Took a pick when it was mostly gone....we were hungry so ate in anyways. We were very disappointed. A bad night maybe ? They weren't busy at all, no one inside. Really wanted to love this place, but....“

While the pizza prices may seem a tad higher than the competition, it’s well worth as the put more cheese and toppings than most of their competition, so you need feeer pieces. It’s always very clean, and the husband wife owners are both very nice.“
