“I've been to the Little Italian Pizza West now about 4 times and it is a good pie. I would say it is on pair with other Chicago Style Pizza establishments attempting to hit the New York Style or Sicilian Style Pizza.Let's start with the sauce. The sauce is good but I find it just a bit too acidic and it really needs be balanced just a touch. The toppings. I would say that they are standard fair for toppings with generous cheese. I ordered several toppings including peppers on my pizza and originally I couldn't see the peppers. They were minced pretty fine and I'm debating on whether or not I liked it. On one hand you get better coverage but then you don't get the contrast of texture from the pepper. Torn.Overall, I would visit the place again but I would really love them to lean in on a New York Style Pie. Thin crunchy slice with slightly burnt bubbles.“
“We came from out of town to the Amtrak station and were craving some Chicago Style Pizza! Jeff was our server and he was so nice and attentive. Tom (the manger I think?) came to check on us personally to see how things were. Everything was exceptional. The food & the service was great! Very nice people working here. Extremely great first experience after traveling such a long way!“
“My boyfriend & I recently came here to celebrate our anniversary and was more than impressed. The food was AMAZING! for an appetizer we tried the burrata, fantastic Then for our entrees he had the Lamb Bolognese and I got the Ricotta Gnocchi. Both were cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the tiramisu. Alongside the food, the service was top tier! The waiter explained the dishes and made sure we didn’t have any questions. Overall, wonderful experience and we will absolutely be back for more!“
“My server Jasmeen E was absolutely AMAZING with my daughter and I today . She was very patient and attentive to us. She had such a bubbly kind spirit which made everything better . The food was fresh and delicious. Soup and breadsticks were amazing as always . Will definitely be returning . Great “
“Hello,Editing a previous google review for our experience here to say that the GM reached out, and rectified the situation. We were pleased to be invited back, given a quieter/more enjoyable table, and feel truly taken care of.The food was also way more enjoyable our second time around. Thank you to Donnie and team for making up for our Valentines Day dinner!Grace“
“My siblings and I took my mother here for her birthday and it was amazing! We all loved the atmosphere and the excellent friendly service. The waiter explained the menu and offered options. The fresh homemade pasta tasted so delicious and the tomato sauce was so scrumptious. We all finished our plates and the wine ? is perfect ? a really great authentic Italian restaurant. Highly recommended to dinner in here and try it for yourself.“
“Awesome Detroit style pizza. This restaurant has some, if not the best Detroit style pizza in the Midwest. Fun atmosphere and unique vibe are sure to make for a great lunch or dinner. In the summer they have outdoor seating and plenty of space. The only downside is parking, however there’s side streets and a parking garage not too far from the restaurant. The food is awesome and the service is very friendly.Gluten Free - they have gluten free pizza and dishes that are delicious.Dietary restrictions: They have Gluten Free options!“
“It was great food and service they were fast and the customer service was amazing. I definitely will be recommending to friends and family. I will be back soon. The pizza was delicious and nicely cooked. This store is the place to go for pizza.“
“I’m the newest fan of GIA MIA. Wow! Food was excellent, drink list was adequate, ambiance of the place was top notch. Don’t sleep on the Short Rib Gnocchi… it was incredible! Also, the bacon kale salad with the lemon vinaigrette was delicious. Will be back next time I’m in town!“
“Traverso's has excellent food. We go there and normally get our favorites. For me it's the "Linguine Carbonara"! Tonight did not disappoint. The portion size is generous and we generally have a "box" to go. I highly recommend Traverso's!“
“Great restaurant and close to home. Best pizza around and we have tried them all. Go here and you will not be disappointed. The staff actually CARES about your experience here. They have a little bar off to the side in case you are thirsty as well and of course you can order anything on the restaurant menu and it's available there as well. All around great place!Parking: Lots of parking availableWheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs..just roll right in“
“This past Saturday, my family had a large party at the Aurelio's in Naperville, IL. We worked with the restaurant management to plan the event for 30 people. From the start, everyone there was great. The attention we received from all staff was tremendous. The room was perfect, the pizza was delicious. Our server was exceptional. She attended to everyone promptly and courteously. A real professional. We will be back.“
“Always a good experience. I just did carryout. I arrived about 30 minutes early. I went in and they pushed my order up the line and I was out of there after just using the restroom. Great take-out staff and well managed!!!! Don't forget to tip on pickup orders!!!! I don't think they have a tip option when you pickup. So your not "that guy" when you pickup. "Ill get you twice next time." (Yeah right lol) Also my food was packed very well. Hot and cold stayed separate. Bags designed to not tip over in car. I was pretty impressed! Thanks!!Hope that helps!“
“Overall this place has fantastic food but they are short staffed. There appears to be a lot of host/hostesses and busers but not nearly enough waitstaff. Maybe we caught them on a bad night. The food took a really long time to come out. We asked for grilled chicken no seasoning for our salad and that apparently took the longest to come out. Which didn't really make any sense. They claimed they had to make the chicken from scratch. If they don't have fresh chicken breast ready to make then it sounds like they have frozen chicken or chicken that is already prepared. That makes you feel you aren't getting top quality. The time and debacle it caused made it seem like they were beheading and defeathering a live chicken. If they would have told us it would take this long we wouldn't have even ordered it. Again, when you have grilled chicken as a side for a salad it shouldn't take long to make and our request was just no seasoning on the chicken. When it finally did arrive, we were already done our meals so didn't need it anymore. They did credit us the salad and apologized for the wait. They were very nice but this was just odd.“
“This was mine and my wife's time at this restaurant and definitely DID NOT disappoint. We had a mishap at a neighbor restaurant down the street who sort of did us wrong so we decided to try out Angeli's after a friend of mine kept suggesting it & we are so happy that we chose it. The food was A-MA-ZING & the staff was so welcoming. Tony, the owner made his way over to introduce himself and made lovely small talk with us. Our server, Anthony was FANTASTIC and gave great suggestions on food selections. Christine, another server, also came over to talk with us after hearing about our encounter at the other restaurant. Overall, I highly recommend Angeli's a place to take your loved ones to and enjoy the true comfort of Italian food, you will thank me later. Huge portion of chicken parmeson with marina that tasted like what my mom makes. Wife had vodka cream pasta which was also amazing. To top it off we had death by chocolate desert which was also amazing. I know where we will eat when away from moms cooking.“
“A friend recommended Zeppes and we stopped by late on a Sunday. They were closed, but the owner saw us and reopened just to show us around. We went home with Zeppe's sauce, fresh noodles and amazing garlic bread. Kids loved it so much they asked to go back tomorrow. Best meatballs we've ever had! Thanks so much for the hospitality, highly recommended!“
“While Buona Beef was good, I prefer Portillos. I feel like the fries seemed a bit freezer burned and despite all the advertising pics, I did not know that you had to ask for giardenera. Bread, beef and gravy were good. They have some interesting drinks besides the usual fountain soft drinks. I liked the strawberry-watermelon drink, but the lemonade was too tart and did not seem to have enough sugar.“
“I was recommended this place by my coworkers and loved it as I first visited the other day. The staff is friendly and the prices for the food is pretty reasonable. One slice of pizza is HUGE and was very yummy. I will definitely be going back.“
“Everything it was hyped up to be. I got the calamari and the Malnati Chicago Classic. The fresh sauce and butter crust were excellent. The quality of the sausage stood out to me, which says a lot since I’m essentially a human garbage disposal. There was something that didn’t connect all the dots for me, I chalk that up to traveling all day and being really tired. Probably… haha.“
“This has been our go-to for pizza in the past few years, but service has suffered recently. We've had one or two bad experiences and I eventually contacted them through their website. The owner called to smooth things over, which I appreciated. Good customer service is important. Our latest order was back to the great quality I had come to expect so let's hope it stays that way. I've raised my rating from a 3 to 4 for now. It will go back to a 5 if there are not anymore issues.“
“Awesome Service from Joe. We needed 3 pizzas for a boy baby shower at my job and Joe came thru... We had a pepperoni pizza, a grilled chicken pizza & a spinach, onion & green pepper pizza...all thin crust .. that Pizza was soooooooo good! I went back the next day and got one for home... It was a chicken, spinach, onion & green pepper pizza. Joe wasn't in but the staff that was so also very kind & friendly.... The Bears had just lost & we were all in a funk about it but laughing at the same time. It was like visiting family. Will definitely return. Just wish Giordano's had more specials or coupons. Thanks everyone at this location. U all are awesome!!!!“
“Got a Detroit-style 8-corner (the pizza is actually rectangular, with four corner slices and four inner slices) pepperoni and had a piece while it was piping hot. I enjoyed it; it had a very thick crust, like a soft, oily focaccia, that was lightly carmelized on the outside, and an appropriate amount of sauce, which was plain tomatoey but worked well with the crust. I had to add mozzarella to the rest of the pizza when reheating, though - it's like the cheese settled into the crust, but I've had this happen with other pizzas. Try one to see if you like this style of pizza.“
“Excellent! Had many gluten-free options$1 charge for gluten-free free bread. The gluten-free bread was a cross between a tortilla and pita bread, but it was yummy.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free. My husband had the crab stuffed cod, and I regret not ordering it myself because it was gluten-free. But my chicken was great!“
“Still one of the best restaurants I've ever visited. Everything I've ever eaten here is the best I've ever had. Try everything. Go a lot. At least one visit try just ordering all of the small plate appetizers. Worth ever penny. Outstanding serving staff. Eat well. Get served well. TIP Well.“
