Shoutout to Traverso’s in Naperville for making our daughter’s graduation dinner last night so enjoyable. This tired mama is grateful for the awesome owner and fantastic servers who made the end of the day relaxing and yummy.

Traverso’s Restaurant | Italian is a very nice restaurant that is very clean and well lit, with a nice bar setup. The food is excellent, delicious, and amazing, served hot and as ordered. Regular diners enjoy the generous portions, and gluten-free diners find a huge GF menu with a committed fryer for GF and GF pizza crusts stored in the refrigerator. The GF Chicken Vesuvio pairs a rich olive oil with oregano, and the GF Spaghetti Parma has a rich, creamy sauce made from fresh cream, prosciutto, fresh mushrooms and peas. Do not skip the GF Goosey Cake, a hot, gooey, GF chocolate brownie cake topped with a cream cheese layer, ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce drizzle. Staff is friendly, punctual, and doesn’t miss any details to service. The owners truly care and stop by multiple times to check on diners, making sure everything is great. Traverso’s is one of those rare restaurants that literally gets every single thing right.
