Ed & Jean’s is truly a hidden gem- step inside and you will be transported to a homey, cozy, artistic and eclectic cocktail lounge that features a huge and unique selection of spirits and outstanding cocktails. Great service, awesome vibes, highly recommended!
This is a really special place. Love IT. Playful, colorful vintage decor and posters. Comprehensive drink list, top notch service. And a friendly dog!
(Visitor) Very, very cool vibe! My friends and I didn’t have any food but the mixed drinks were awesome and the bartender was cool. They also had a great happy hour!

Ed & Jean's Tavern in Bucktown is a unique neighborhood locale with its own distinct character. The atmosphere is artistic, warm, and welcoming, with each room having its own vibe, decor, and ambiance. Recently reopened under new ownership, it now offers a variety of classic and unique drinks, including margaritas, daily special punch, espresso martinis, and sangria, in a friendly setting with plenty of comfortable seating. The staff provides attentive and great service, with the bartender being particularly helpful. It's a great spot for a classy cocktail and good conversation, and also a wonderful date spot with an unpretentious atmosphere, perfect for spending the evening with friends.
