J9 is like poppin bottles in the ice, like a blizzard, drinking and doing it right, gettin′ slizzard, except with class and astounding vibes. Turns out the wine here pairs best with having A GOOD TIME!
Everyone else seemed to be having a grand old time squeezed elbow-to-elbow. We managed to snag a small table surprisingly fast, considering the Saturday night crush. Service was brisk, maybe a bit too much so, as we felt a little rushed.
Great little pit stop for any afternoon.

It is a cute and cozy spot in a fun area of Lincoln Park, with a large seating area and intimate spaces, making it ideal for a date or casual gathering. When the weather is warm, guests can sit by the windows or on the patio to watch people. The bar has limited food options, but what is available is great, and it is a perfect place to visit before heading to a fancier dinner nearby, with some guests even waiting here after putting in their name at Armitage Alehouse. The staff is very nice and accommodating, often moving guests to better tables when possible.
