Summer House is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Chicago, not because they have amazing food, not because they have extraordinary service, and not because they have a fantastic atmosphere but because they have all three. What a cool place! We were fortunate enough to have a reservation on a clear, sunny day so the view through the glass ceiling was amazing. Such an open and inviting place. The food was excellent (and we had a lot in our group from pizza to salads to fish to ribs). Whitney's service was top notch and the staff was so friendly. And then we had cookies!

I had a baby shower for my daughter in one of the private rooms and it was lovely. The space was roomy yet cozy with the fireplace and greenery. The food and drinks were delish. Trishie, Nikki and the rest of the staff were very attentive and easy to work with. It was a stress free event.
