I had a baby shower for my daughter in one of the private rooms and it was lovely. The space was roomy yet cozy with the fireplace and greenery. The food and drinks were delish. Trishie, Nikki and the rest of the staff were very attentive and easy to work with. It was a stress free event.

Summer House is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Chicago, not because they have amazing food, not because they have extraordinary service, and not because they have a fantastic atmosphere but because they have all three. We had a reservation and it took just a little longer to sit us and at least 4 different staff members came by to apologize to us (the wait was not long at all). The second we sat down they brought over complementary chips and dip since we waited just a little bit over our reservation to be sat saying again that they were sorry and they wanted us to have something to eat right away since we “worked up an appetite”. The servers we had were exceptional- very personable and quick. At the end of the meal they gave us complementary cookies too!! Which outshine crumbl cookie and insomnia. The food we had was some of the best I’ve had in Chicago -truffle fries are a must. The fries were thin, crispy, and well seasoned. The atmosphere was clean, warm, and sleek. If you’re thinking of going here for a dinner out with friends or a special event I 100% recommend Summer House! I will be telling all my friends about this place and returning! 10/10

What a cool place! We were fortunate enough to have a reservation on a clear, sunny day so the view through the glass ceiling was amazing. Such an open and inviting place. The food was excellent (and we had a lot in our group from pizza to salads to fish to ribs). Whitney's service was top notch and the staff was so friendly. And then we had cookies!
Summer house is always a wonderful experience. It is definitely a vibe. On top of that the food is always great and the service is fantastic. Summer house is always a must go when my wife and I are in the city.

Summer house was one of our favorite lunch spots we went to in Chicago. The truffle fry appetizer is a must get! I had the Brussel sprout salad with salmon which was light and delicious. The piece of salmon was a bit small, but it was tasty. The turkey sandwich came with a very generous portion of meat and the fries were cooked to perfection. The ambiance inside is beautiful, transporting you to somewhere on the coast. For dessert we had one of their famous cookies! Overall a great experience. They have an extensive gluten free menu that is celiac safe as well.

Absolutely AMAZING! Man I wish they had a location in Oklahoma City. Had a great time! The vibes are solid!Made reservations, still had to wait. They seemed to be short staffed. Our waitress was available but busy. Staff works really well together, taking glasses, empty plates, and filling up our water constantly! Much appreciated and valued.Drinks were great, wide selection! Had a blast. The atmosphere of this place is just incredible. The green, the lights, natural light, it all just flowed great!Food was delicious! The appetizers went hard, and especially the chicken sandwich! Very creative, distinct menu with options for everyone’s palate.
