“I “started” the subject that pertains to this transaction at the time, while the food was top tier, the services is what needs to shine. I placed an order for delivery, and when I looked at the app it said that the food was picked up. An hr or so had passed and I had not received my food. I made a call to the restaurant and the way that they appeased me was to remake my order and the owner himself brought me my food. That gesture went a long way for me, and I truly appreciated it.“

“We had dinner delivered tonight. It came fast and it was hot. We ordered a Cuban sandwich, turkey with bacon, a horseshoe sandwich, Mac and cheese and a kids Dino grilled cheese with the best french fries! We totally recommend TriBecca's Sandwich Shop and give it a 10 plus!“

“Went here with my Auntie, Fizi and Nick was very friendly with us, they were guiding us throughout the way and even pointed out what we can do to get a discount. We presented a coupon but we forgot to check the date, it was invalid to use already. But then Fizi helped us with the app and we got the $5 discount (not much but it’s something) Then Nick was friendly and attentive with our food as well. Great staff, good food, good price. “Amazing experience! We had the food truck at our sons birthday party! Not only are they delicious but also amazing customer service!!! They were so nice, engaged with everyone, and my son loved the men working and he’s two so he loved doing fist bumps and they even cut his chicken tenders up for me so they would cool faster. “I just love this little sandwich shop. We weren’t really hungry but realized we were close by so decided to stop. For “not very hungry” I sure did eat a lot. The ham and brie is my favorite. So so good. The ham is shaved thin and stacked thick. The brie is fresh. The bread is fresh and perfectly crusty on the outside but soft inside. The owner, Arthur, was quick to get me a requested cup of ice for my drink (I’m that person). He was also friendly, stopping to chat a bit, during a lull. Not many lulls at Deliska though. Seems to be a popular dine-in AND takeout. Arthur said their sign is (finally) arriving soon. I expect being noticeable from Waukegan Rd will really up their walk-in business. Try their sandwiches. You won’t regret it. And take a pic before devouring most of it.“

“Cool cafe with a bunch of eclectic nicknacks and wall art. I got the goat cheese crostini which comes with a side of roasted tomato relish. It was good but it didn’t blow my socks off. It almost seemed like it was missing just one extra ingredient or garnish to take it to the next level.

I also got the chicken club and it was good. The star of the sandwich was definitely the bread. You can tell this place knows what they’re doing when it comes to making bread.“

“Some of the best vegan banh mi in the city, you'd be hard pressed to find better. The lemongrass tofu is my favorite but the BBQ vegan is also to die for. The ingredients taste very fresh, bread is fresh, herbs are really nice, and they're made to order and you can really tell. Also pretty good prices in the year of 2026.

There are some dead animals on display near the counter, so keep that in mind if that bothers you.“

“Masterpiece sandwiches and cookies. I highly recommend the Taste of Chicago Sandwich (perfectly spicy). Mary the owner catered our wedding party for us, and it was probably the best food we had all weekend. They were able to provide Vegan and Gluten Free versions of almost all of their main menu items, which delighted our dietary-restricted guests. Highly recommend both eating at the cute restaurant and getting them to cater for you!!“

“I am somewhat of a chicken sandwich aficionado. I was incredibly surprised at how good Tso Good's chicken sandwich was. I've tried almost all of the contenders in Chicago (Redlight Chicken, Fry the Coop, The Roost, Honey Butter, etc...) I was amazed at how good this place was! The Chicken patty was flavorful and juicy, nice and thick. I will have to add this place into my rotation! I don't know how I missed it before today.“

“With all the unhealthy junk food out there, it’s always a great day when you find something that’s both healthy and tasty, and affordable! The owners were very friendly, everything was clean inside, and the service was quick. I got the Paneer Fig sandwich and my GF got the Indonesian Ginger BBQ sandwich with chicken, and we both loved it. You also get the option to make it spicy or not. I’d say I have a higher than average heat tolerance, and I asked for spicy but IMO it wasn’t spicy at all. Not a big deal, but if you’re worried it’ll be too hot, it wont be. You also get to choose between chips and coleslaw, we both got the coleslaw and that was just okay. I’d rather try whatever chips they have available next time. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if you can make it during there unfortunately very limited hours from 11am-2pm.“

I saw the specials online. They were not on their handout menu so you may have to ask for them. The short rib wrap was delicious. Loaded tator tots were too intriguing to pass up. Generous portion enough for three or four. Delightfully cheesy . Like nachos but with tots instead of chips. Burger was greasy but otherwise fine. Sweet potatoe fries looked dark, like the oil needed cleaning but tasted fine. Service was fast and friendly. Unique choices. Try it.“

The couple that owns and operates this Subway take quality of the experience that customers get very seriously. They keep the place clean, organized, and play awesome music from the 80’s (great playlist selection). They are always super friendly and quick and have everything in stock. I noticed the quality of the experience and compared the ratings to other subways in the area and this place is about 0.5 stars higher than most and very few Subways get above 4 stars so this is a stellar shop.
