“To start off with, the gentleman that answered the phone was great! Very polite, listened, and took down my order correctly. The people who make the food did a wonderful job as well. Not only did my sandwich show up correct, but it looked great. I also ordered hot peppers on the side. Now they could’ve tossed these in a little cup and I would’ve been happy, but that’s not what they did. They placed, not tossed, but placed all of the pepper slices into a very neat row, and wrapped them in packaging. To finish, the delivery driver was on time, as freaky fast as expected. Great team over there!! This might not seem out of the ordinary for Jimmy Johns, but with “fast food” delivery, if it shows up correct you’re lucky. This service was AWESOME!! “Went there with family after making the order in the app. The sandwiches were ready by the time we went. The man working there was really patient and had prepared the food with at most care. You can make out when you open the sandwich with neat packing with the stuff inside. We introduced ourselves that we were from Minneapolis visiting Chicago. It was a friendly conversation so much that we enjoyed the food and the talk. He even gave a free cookie to my 6 year old kid after she finished the sandwich she so much liked. Honest business must be appreciated. We left the place as happy customers. Do visit the place if you get a chance.“

“Went here with my Auntie, Fizi and Nick was very friendly with us, they were guiding us throughout the way and even pointed out what we can do to get a discount. We presented a coupon but we forgot to check the date, it was invalid to use already. But then Fizi helped us with the app and we got the $5 discount (not much but it’s something) Then Nick was friendly and attentive with our food as well. Great staff, good food, good price. “I just love this little sandwich shop. We weren’t really hungry but realized we were close by so decided to stop. For “not very hungry” I sure did eat a lot. The ham and brie is my favorite. So so good. The ham is shaved thin and stacked thick. The brie is fresh. The bread is fresh and perfectly crusty on the outside but soft inside. The owner, Arthur, was quick to get me a requested cup of ice for my drink (I’m that person). He was also friendly, stopping to chat a bit, during a lull. Not many lulls at Deliska though. Seems to be a popular dine-in AND takeout. Arthur said their sign is (finally) arriving soon. I expect being noticeable from Waukegan Rd will really up their walk-in business. Try their sandwiches. You won’t regret it. And take a pic before devouring most of it.“
