“Was very surprised at how serious they took my gluten intolerance. They got fresh knives and cleaned the whole area before beginning to make my sandwich. It's nice to see people who have been educated about this condition i live with and that they take it seriously. The bread itself on the sandwich was typical gf bread but it was so nice to be able to order a sub and enjoy it like I haven't been able to in years.“

“I recently ordered from Potbelly and had an interesting experience that turned out quite positive! Initially, I thought I was ordering a delicious sandwich but opened my order to find it mostly meat. It was a learning moment for me, as I realized I needed to add the extras!

I also mistakenly opened a salad instead of just the sandwich, which made my bill seem a bit higher than expected. When I reached out to the manager to clarify the situation, they were incredibly understanding and took care of everything promptly.

“Update:
I went a second time to try more things. I wouldn't recommend the potato pancakes. I don't know if it was an off day but the potatoes were dry, like they were left out for too long and then fried.
But the belly lox sandwich was amazing! On the salty side but that's how we like it. It came with a side of potato salad which was also amazing.

The food was good but not great. The bagel and cream cheese were good and standard but the pastrami hash and eggs were okay with not a lot of flavor. I'll definitely go back to try different Bagels and other items.“

“Hard to find places that have good tasting food and macros. If your are into fitness or tracking cals or dieting this place is great. Got a half pesto chicken sandwich with extra chicken and some soup under 700cal.

But, at the North Chicago location, everyone understands my primary language (English) and is train well so this wonderful food actually comes out the way I ordered it! My go to sandwich is a #4 Turkey Tom NO mayo No tomato. Extra oil and vinegar, and onions.
The sandwich that I have been loving lately though has been the Cuban sandwich.
Their Gyro's were actually SO GOOD. I mean not as good as a authentic Gyro but it was one of the best that I have ever had.
One thing I can say is that I would love it if they could come out with a Cookie sandwich type thing. I think they had one around Valentines in 2024 but I never got it. Hoping for something like that to come again.
