“Good sandwich, no line. Seemed clean. Lots of parking. Turkey club was $ 14.50 ish. just for the sandwich, I think it’s worth the cost because Subway doesn’t skimp on the ingredients and you get to choose what you want. I usually buy the large sandwich and make 2 meals. I like this subway location. I take and go.“
“They make very good sandwiches. Everything is always fresh. And true to their word, the smells are free.The included picture was taken a few years ago when they were giving away free turkey and ham sandwiches. Not a lot of other places give away a whole sandwich!“
“Amazing! I'm not from this area and didn't want fast food. Accidentally found this place and MAN am I glad I did! Very nice people who work there. She immediately told me about their soups of the day. Had the Spotted Cow Cheddar Beer soup with their homemade pretzel croutons. OMG the best! Also had the Turkey Swiss Mushroom Panini, fantastic and so fresh. Will definitely be back if I'm out here ??“

“I have been a customer since they opened about 40 years ago?? I remember walking home from Central school and scrounging up enough money to buy a Scotcharoo with my best friend. This deli is such an important fixture in Libertyville and it's always evolving. I had two vegan salads today that were delicious. Last week I had a shrimp po boy that was also yummy. They never disappoint and the food and service is always excellent. Thank you for everything you do. We appreciate you!“

“Mr. Submarine is so much better than some of the other competitors out there. Specifically that one team with the green and yellow colors. Their bread is second best to my favorite red and black team, and the service is a little more helpful. I have heard that other locations can vary in quality, but when my local Polish deli has closed, I come here for a decent sandwich. The employees are always patient with you and make sure you're comfortable with your decision on toppings before they actually place them on your sandwich. I definitely feel like their vegetables are fresh, and the meat is tasty, but not top quality. Again, I am comparing a chain to Euro-style sandwiches. I'm not expecting top tier, but I am definitely happy with the sandwich I get, which is always the Mr. Sub. This location is hidden in a Mobil gas station, which I would have never found had I not searched for places to eat in Fox Lake. I barely know the area, having moved here from Chicago. Definitely check them out. What's also cool is that if there are other incidentals that you need from the gas station shop, it's there for you to purchase along with your sandwich. Love it!“
“The sandwiches are always ???. They hook it up fat. I only need a mini and I’m good to go. They play really good music and management needs to know how excellent the staff here is. Rarely do you go into a store, let alone a fast food establishment, and have employees that are this inviting and diligent. I come semi-regularly on my lunch break. Plus the rewards system is a perk“

“Best Subway ever! Sandwich makers know their craft and even though this corporate location is farther than others, I make the drive for the outstanding service. I have ordered there many times and have yet to be disappointed. Sandwiches are consistent and well crafted. I highly recommend this Subway amongst the sea of mediocre locations, this one really stands out and all other stores should follow their lead. “Jersey Mike's is one of those quintessential go to, fast food, east coast hoagie and cheese steak Sammy fixing places. You'll always, generally, find them clean, customer service generally three to five star ( depending upon the age of the server behind the counter), but ever big smiles on their faces, and consistently pretty darn good all over the country. I discovered Jersey Mike's as a local franchise and have since bumped into them all over the nation. “We were served and helped by Mr. Manish. He was patient and worked with us for 3 veggie sandwiches. The bread was fresh and the veggie patty tasted good. The store was clean and had two playing kiosks. The store also offers popcorns, pizza, drinks and chips.“
“First time at a new church today and I was invited to lunch by the pastor and several other people. It seems McAlister's is one of their go to places. It is a nice looking place with counter ordering and table service. They are apparently known for their sweet tea, which I passed on as I prefer unsweetened tea and not diabetes in a cup. The unsweetened tea was really good though. I had a spicy southwest chicken sandwich and a fruit cup side. It was a good choice as the sandwich was pretty tasty though nothing too special. It was good enough that I will gladly go back with this group from my new church it won't necessarily seek it out on my own as I tend to prefer locally owned smaller places. Still good though.“
“Food was good and fresh. I ordered the chicken Philly in a bowl (it was sautéed with peppers and onions, but said nothing about jalapeños, so it was warm!) I wouldn't have requested them but it was ok. I wish they would have put more lettuce for the base of their salad. It was just a small handful. Otherwise delicious.“
