We weren't too sure about this place but it was on our way and we needed sandwiches. The woman that makes the sandwiches is so sweet and will make you whatever you want! The sandwich is tasty and so much better than the chain sandwich shops.
So glad to have this nearby. Growing up in Chicago this was one of my favorite places, now it's a 20 minute drive from the Wisconsin border. The woman who makes the subs, usually, is awesome. She will customize your sub for your which is usually a bit of a challenge at my go to Mr. Sub on Western Ave in Chicago. Get a king super sub with oil on half. You'll get 4 meals out of it.

Mr. Submarine is so much better than some of the other competitors out there. Specifically that one team with the green and yellow colors. Their bread is second best to my favorite red and black team, and the service is a little more helpful. I have heard that other locations can vary in quality, but when my local Polish deli has closed, I come here for a decent sandwich.
