“Where do I begin? Welcoming atmosphere, clean restaurant, and attentive service. I'm not a margarita fan, but I thoroughly enjoy my strawberry margarita and would enjoy again! My fiancé ordered salsa and chips for an appetizer and we were both happily surprised with the fresh chips and tasty green salsa! After enjoying our appetizer we both ordered their three taco dinner special for taco Tuesday. My fiancé order steak tacos and I ordered a combination of chicken tinga, chorizo, and their house special campechano. Everything was amazing!!! My fiancé enjoys the spicier salsas and was offered a habenero red salsa. We sampled all three that was received and have nothing but good things to say about them all. Thank you for an amazing dinning experience tonight, can't wait to come back and enjoy a new dish in the near future! ☺️🌮🌯”

“We have been going here for a while. The other breakfast places around here are nothing compared to whistle stop. The food is always fresh, hot, friendly professional staff and every guest is treated the same which makes us feel comfortable and wecome. I have not had one bad dish everything is great. Their fries are really good too. Keep up the good work. My kids love you guys!

“The food here is exceptional, featuring beautifully cuts of fish and my favorite miso and Japanese salad. The quality ingredients and presentation are top-notch. However, the overall experience was disappointing.

The restaurant itself is in a state of disrepair. It’s run-down and not very clean. We arrived around 7 pm on a Saturday, we were seated in the far back corner, near the kitchen and bathroom. To our dismay, there was a cart of dirty dishes right next to our table, emitting a foul odor. It took about 10 minutes for the staff to remove it to the kitchen. Thankfully, we were about to leave when it was finally taken away.

The wait to place our order was another 15 minutes, and it took over an hour to receive our food. We were grateful that we weren’t in a hurry. Despite the long wait, the food was still worth it. However, with so many other great options available, we may have to wait a while before returning.

The bathrooms were also in a state of disrepair. There was plenty of street parking in the front and more in the back. The service was not as friendly and personable as we’ve experienced at other restaurants. We suspect that they were understaffed on the day of our visit.

Overall, this was our second visit to the restaurant, and while we will definitely return for the amazing food, we won’t be doing so anytime soon.”

“so ordered combination teriyaki and garlic parmesan wings and an order of macaroni and cheese, the teriyaki wings were fairly saucy and reasonably tasty move on to the garlic parmesan wings which had zero sauce however they did have Parmesan on them. according to the manager they didn't have any sauce on it so they parmesan them up. now let's move on to the macaroni and cheese I've had macaroni and cheese out of the box from Aldi that had thicker cheese sauce. so I questioned the manager about this his exacting answer to me was we buy our ingredients for that at Walmart. so you buy your ingredients from Walmart when you're a restaurant so that's not actually acceptable and the lake county health department standards for a restaurant. you could literally pour the cheese sauce out of the cup so I question the manager on both of these and he's the one that told me this and didn't seem to give any care about our dinner... so I'm just leaving this up for everybody else they don't seem to care. didn't offer to make anything right and well they will never get our money again. if you want some macaroni and cheese Heck just go to Walmart and buy some you might get the better quality than they make.”

“Staff was courteous; menu varied with traditional Mexican cuisine.
A bit too pricey for my budget. At $14 a burrito, wouldn't be able to visit regularly with 5 of us.
If your passing through Fox Lake, I'd suggest you give them a try.”

I never experienced the bakery with the old ownership-so I can’t speak to the history, but the bakery is a must-stop in the morning when passing through Fox Lake!”

“This place is a hidden gem in Fox Lake! The bruschetta?? Amazing! Pizza is excellent as are the sausage and meatballs… and vodka pasta is fantastic. I haven’t had much else on the menu yet…but what I HAVE had is surprisingly good! Give it a try!!”

“We recently had a celebration of life party. The place was perfect large windows looking out to the water. The staff especially Max was such a great help in making sure the place was set up to our liking. We had so many people say how nice the place was and they never knew it was there. Definitely a hidden treasure. Would definitely recommend for your next party.”

“Absolutely delicious. Picked up a gordita and chips and salsa on my lunch break. Exceeded my expectations. Salsa was the right amount of spicy with a perfectly subtle smokey flavor. Gordita was so yummy. Planning to come back frequently!”

“Lately, I have had trouble finding great tasting, local food. A lot of places have that frozen dinner, mass produced taste. However, Asian Fusion was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the orange chicken and crab rangoon, something basic to determine if it is worth coming back. Will definitely be coming back to order other things off the menu. The rice appeared fresh and did not have any hardness or that leftover the next day and reheated quickly feeling. The orange chicken was amazing, and had a bit of a punch to it that I have not tasted anywhere else. Even the broccoli had snap and was not overcooked or soggy looking. The dinner came with a free egg roll which tasted just as great. It is connected to a rolled ice cream shop as well, and the person working the counter was also rolling up ice cream for other diners.”

“Their new green sauce is delightful. Hate the kiosk ordering which is challenging to order from. Why is a medium soft drink $1 but a small is $2.39? Yes they will still let you order at a cashier but there is no menu so you have to use the kiosk to see the selection. Why are the signs now all saying Taco Bell delivery? Do they not want us to come in?”
