“What a delightful spot. Just what you want in a neighborhood bar. Stop by and meet some new friends. Love this place EXCEPT when someone jacks up the jutebox at 4 in the afternoon when everyone else is watching the news. We just left. Not everyone has your taste in music.”

“Ok so first things first this was my first visit..... the Owner is awesome!! The employee that made my samich was awesome as well ! Now for the food... the samich was darn good and filling the pasta salad and tater salad was homemade and you can tell! Reminds me of a typical neighborhood deli in Chicago. The meatballs are a MUST! and are homemade. I suggest everyone swing by and try the great food and if yur new ya get to spin the wheel o stuff for a treat or discount on yur next visit! “I brought my mom here today and we both had Reshmi Curry with Eggplant-She had it with the chickpea noodles and I had it with rice. They were absolutely delicious, savory meals. We both cleaned our plates. And I’m a child-sized person, so that’s saying something.I certainly can’t complain about the service or the price either. I was also happy to find a restaurant that didn’t have any steps, since my mom uses a walker.”

“Super cute and cozy bakery in downtown Wauconda. The chai latte was perfect and the blueberry scone was fresh. I like the homey atmosphere and that you can see the bakery operations in back. Everything is clean and organized.Parking: Easy street parking (free) or park in the spaces across the street just off the alley.”

“They make their waffle cones fresh everyday. Their ice creams are so good in quality, got to try blueberry waffle in a waffle cone and absolutely loved it. Price is also reasonable. They relocated from Main Street to a different location now and has plenty of parking.”

“Been going to this bakery since moving to McHenry this past April, we’ve only ever gotten donuts and more specialized desert treats but my boyfriend got my birthday cake there in July either vanilla or marble - it was SO good and I’m not a big cake person.. well the other day I decided to purchase his birthday cake there - got a chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting… best cake I’ve ever had. And I’m not big on chocolate cake either. Everyone loved it, and thank god we still have a piece left over ? wonderful customer service and pricing too!”

“I've tried a lot of things on the menu, and I enjoy everything there. You can pick your sauce for all the near items, but I think the spice and flavor are prevalent without the sauce. The sauce is just a bonus, in my opinion. You can't go wrong with the food or dessert at this restaurant.”
