“I usually have a good experience at this location, and the rest of the staff — including the manager — are friendly and professional. However, there is one employee (a woman) whose behavior consistently stands out in a negative way.

During my recent visit, I had an issue with a mobile order where I was charged, and I showed proof both from my bank account and the app. Instead of trying to help, she had a very rude and dismissive attitude. She was speaking in Spanish to her coworkers about the situation rather than addressing me directly. When I asked if she spoke English, I was told yes, but she still continued speaking to others instead of communicating with me properly.

What made the situation more frustrating is that I do understand Spanish, and her tone and comments were unprofessional. Once she realized I could understand, her attitude changed and she finally spoke in English and corrected her tone.

Customer service should be respectful and consistent, regardless of the situation. I hope management addresses this, because it does not reflect the otherwise positive experience I’ve had at this location.“

“We ordered through the app and my husband picked up our sandwiches. When we opened them up at home it looked like they were both made the way my husband liked them. I thought about just eating it the way it was but my husband likes extra oil, extra mayo… I couldn’t stomach the thought of eating it like that. I called and let them know and they were so nice about the situation. The person I spoke to gave me several options (refund, remake the sandwich and even offered to drop it off on his way home- that’s seriously above and beyond.) I asked them to remake it and I hopped in the car right away because it was getting close to closing time. They even let us keep the second sandwich- my husband is happy as a clam and will gladly eat the second one.
Can’t thank the team there enough for being extra kind and remaking my sandwich. They’re seriously awesome and it made my hectic day (hence why we’re eating so late) a lot less stressful.“

“I love this place I’m addicted the Philly cheesesteak here is one of the best around anywhere you could taste the quality.. Everything I’ve tried from their menu I’ve enjoyed The lemonade, the milkshakes, the french fries. The staff is very welcoming it’s extremely clean.. “Went here with my Auntie, Fizi and Nick was very friendly with us, they were guiding us throughout the way and even pointed out what we can do to get a discount. We presented a coupon but we forgot to check the date, it was invalid to use already. But then Fizi helped us with the app and we got the $5 discount (not much but it’s something) Then Nick was friendly and attentive with our food as well. Great staff, good food, good price. “I just love this little sandwich shop. We weren’t really hungry but realized we were close by so decided to stop. For “not very hungry” I sure did eat a lot. The ham and brie is my favorite. So so good. The ham is shaved thin and stacked thick. The brie is fresh. The bread is fresh and perfectly crusty on the outside but soft inside. The owner, Arthur, was quick to get me a requested cup of ice for my drink (I’m that person). He was also friendly, stopping to chat a bit, during a lull. Not many lulls at Deliska though. Seems to be a popular dine-in AND takeout. Arthur said their sign is (finally) arriving soon. I expect being noticeable from Waukegan Rd will really up their walk-in business. Try their sandwiches. You won’t regret it. And take a pic before devouring most of it.“

“I’ve been eager to try Mortadeli since it first opened, and after hearing so many rave reviews, I finally had the chance to stop by for lunch yesterday. Let me tell you, everything everyone says about this place is spot on! First off, the food is absolutely delicious. Everything on the menu is so tempting, it was hard to choose, but I went with the meatball sub and pasta salad. As someone whose grandmother made the best meatball sandwiches, my expectations were high – but Mortadeli’s version did not disappoint! It was fantastic. The pasta salad was also amazing, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere at Mortadeli is incredibly inviting – it strikes the perfect balance between classy and cozy. The staff are very friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about making your experience special. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff and quick delivery of our food. “It’s a good sandwich place. I tried a few of their sandwiches and haven’t had one I didn’t. You can also modify them to your liking. It’s usually not busy which I like because we can order and get our food quickly. This is our daughter’s favorite sandwich place (she’s 4 but knows what she likes lol).“

“I work for ALDI corporate, and we've had Rammys cater our team building event in Elk Grove for three years now. Their subs are AMAZING, they are a breeze to work with and so friendly. My group loves the subs, the bread is fresh and don't get me started on the turtle brownies. On a personal note, the tuna sub is superb. Im very picky about tuna salad and I loved every bite. Run, do not walk, to Rammys.“

I’d never been before so I wanted to try a bit of everything. The cheesesteak was delicious. I got the original, knowing that if there was going to be a “best” option, this was it. It didn’t disappoint. It was well cooked, bread wasn’t too soggy, it was cut down the middle for convenience. Perfect amount of cheese, meat, and onions. I also got boneless wings with teriyaki sauce. The wings were a slightly overcooked and hard to bite into and the sauce was way too salty for me (almost like it was too much soy sauce). I got an order of the loaded fries which were messy and delicious.“

I saw the specials online. They were not on their handout menu so you may have to ask for them. The short rib wrap was delicious. Loaded tator tots were too intriguing to pass up. Generous portion enough for three or four. Delightfully cheesy . Like nachos but with tots instead of chips. Burger was greasy but otherwise fine. Sweet potatoe fries looked dark, like the oil needed cleaning but tasted fine. Service was fast and friendly. Unique choices. Try it.“
