“This place is extremely excellent for anyone who knows how good a Chicago dog is, even if you don’t want a Chicago dog, they have plenty of other options that simply surpass any other classic diners. Not only do they keep their food fresh and delicious. They also have the most experienced workers I’ve ever seen, working here for over 2 decades each and every one of them. Making sure everyone gets the proper preparations for their food. Would 100% recommend anyone who is either visiting Chicago, or hasn’t tried this place. Irving’s does it like no one else simply because of experience and also knowing almost all there costumers personally. Not to mention they’ve been open for over 50 years now! Also the nostalgia for all those old timers who wanna take a blast in the past! Highly recommend and would eat here again.“

“Dairy Queen in Wilmette is amazing! For my son’s birthday, we asked them to add ‘Pororo The Penguin’ on his ice cream birthday cake. They hand drew it on for my son. That is truly above and beyond anything I could ask for! At other bakeries, they will print the image and place it onto the cake, but this was hand drawn-Wow! Thank you to the artist, Grace I believe. It was perfect. My son LOVES Pororo! He had THE BIGGEST smile and kept jumping up and down at how happy he was. When asked on a scale of 0-10 how much he loves the cake- he said 100! I agree. The staff are always so nice and work so hard. Thank you so much!“

“We took an adventure on a rainy day to Small Cheval. I knew my son loves and makes all kinds of burgers and shakes so he would be the one to enjoy this with me. The double cheeseburger was perfectly gooey, tender bun, burger patties not too greasy. The thick fries well salted not too much. Delightfully chocolatey thick shakes. We will come back. Reasonably priced for the value and the interior building is charming. Would be nice to sit on the patio next time.“

“Love this place. Such a good vibe every time I come here and they make the best sammiches around. I come by at least 4 times a week and these young men are always working so hard . I noticed the last time I came in it was hot as ever in the store and everyone was still working their hardest and providing excellent service as always. Props to them!! Bravo!“
