Great authentic Japanese restaurant. One of the few left that are owned and operated by native Japanese. Highly recommend.
What an amazing restaurant! 🤩 Everything from the food to the service was outstanding. Our meal included edamame, the special fried chicken wings, chicken kara-age, which were unbelievably delicious, yakisoba, and the ribeye teriyaki don. 🍗🥢🍜 We also loved the thoughtful kids’ menu, especially the Japanese vocabulary page! Based on the reviews, Tenjin Japanese Restaurant is a hidden gem and a favorite sushi restaurant on the North side. The food is spectacular, delicious, and fresh, with excellent sushi made from fresh ingredients and fresh fish. The quality of their fish cannot be matched. Specific meals mentioned include the Chicken Katsu Curry and the chicken katsu, which are very tasty. The service is meticulous, attentive, and kind, with staff checking on guests even when busy. The atmosphere is inviting, comfortable, quaint, and peaceful. Parking is slightly limited in back but also super accessible.
