“My Uncle was here from Texas. He said it was THE BEST polish food he has ever had.My sister and I both completely enjoyed everything. I am the one who loves all the not so widely loved foods, the beets, pickled herring, pickled onions. So the fact that they even have those things are a plus for me.The polish style chicken soup was amazing! Iykyk about polish chicken soup! They only keep a couple of pierogi on the buffet, but you can order whatever kind you like and how many you would like included with the buffet.We did dine in but we also took carry out for my nephew and to bring home. The takeout prices are exceptionally well priced.The service was buffet service, not bad but nothing exceptional. It didn’t matter we were there to enjoy the food and the company of family. Overall a very very enjoyable meal and experience.“

“I think I've only been inside this location to replace a drink or get some condiments that weren't added to my order or something. Otherwise it's mainly drive-thru. Service is usually pretty good and haven't had any issues with making an order improperly. Some of the best sandwiches for the price. Especially the 2 regular subs deal. Keep one for lunch the next day letting all the good stuff marinate overnight. So good.“

“Man when I discovered this pizza in 2023 it was amazingly delicious and it continues to be just that. If you like to eat pizza, you cannot go wrong here. I love the pepperoni they use. I always add extra. Just keep in mind it’s not a dine in place. Strictly curbside or in store pickup. People are always nice and it’s always clean.“

“We have driven past this place a number of times over the years. We finally gave it a try. Adults are $14 for dinner. When we go to a sit-down restaurant like a diner, we will probably be about. A regular sit-down restaurant, we would need to pick one entrée or sandwich; China Buffet, you can get a little of everything. I'm on a lo-carb diet, and this type of place can be ideal; I need to make smart decisions and not over eat. I did fill my plate with protein and vegetables, and I was able to treated myself to a small amount of soft serve ice cream. China Buffet is hyper-focused on not wasting food - you can go back as many times as you like, no need to pile on all the food on the first trip. If you are not sure if you would like a particular dish, take a small portion and come back if you like it.Dietary restrictions: I'm on a low-carb diet. This place can be ideal if you make smart decisions. I chose portions and vegetables without a spike in blood sugar.“

“was here a couple of days ago, and this place just never fails to please. the steak sizes are not huge, but perfect size for a meal. it is truly family owned, mama has been here everytime i've been here. it is clean, service is attentive, and the drinks are honest. and hopefully they never change the comfort and ambiance as that is really the best! once you have been here, you'll never forget it and will come back. the only complaint that i have is that the flat iron steak had too many tendons (?). the rib eye and the new york were perfect. order those. and do get the shrimp appetizer, that is just fantastic. if you're coming with friends, any table will do, but if you're coming with a special person, try to get one of the screened in tables for more privacy. this is one of the few restaurants in chicago that offers that. and so you know, this place is extremely comfortable and easily accessible.“
